I've matted in black and also the 2" x10" strip is black. This is to emphasise the photos more.
I went to Christchurch with the same friend as this time in 1978.
The photo top left is from that era.
Here are some images I found of the cathedral straight after the quake.
On my layout I have done a before and after using an old photo plus 2 new ones.
Not a pretty layout but the pink distressed paper and unusual alphas suited it.
I also managed to manouver the world map to be seen.
