613 Avenue create

I've made a card for this challenge by going across the 2nd bottom row.
The die cuts are the typewriter and the letters.
All the other items are obvious I feel.

A mystical sketch and the end of my mini kit

I have now used most of my mini kit for July.
What is left can be recycled back into my stash.
This layout was for Mystical Scrapbooking cyber crop.
It was a sketch challenge with 3 photos.

I used liquid pearls to do the spots in the background, giving it a glossy look.

Mr at Mojo Monday 458

Here's a card I've made using my July Kit for Mojo Monday.
The tag was made from scraps of a previous kit and left over alphas, so I'm pleased it has been used on a card at last. The 2 blue brads I've had for several years also.
This is what I enjoy about cardmaking, using up the bits and pieces.
Here's the sketch

Mystical Ribbon challenge

There is a cyber crop on at Mystical Scrapbooking.
One of the challenges is to use ribbon on a layout.
Last night I made a ribbon rosette, then using a combination of my June plus July mini kit I created this layout.

In the old days when people couldn't read these models were put in Pharmacy shop windows to let people know they sold tablets and medicines.
The scanner squashed the ribbon loops but in real life they're much better.

Lil red wagon and Cardz4guyz

Back to making cards today.
My first is for Li'l Red Wagon where they want us to feature foods on our cards.
I just happened to have a birthday cake handy.

Next I have recycled a card by cutting out a figure and putting it on a new card for Dad.
This is for Cardz4guyz where they ask "Make me smile"
A cowboy relaxing will make most Dad's smile I'm sure.

Finally made it back!

This is a sketch challenge for August on Scrapping Everyday miracles, but as I'm now using my July mini kit I thought I'd show the layout early.
I've used a jeans paper as my background then stuck some leftover stickers on the left and painted over with Gesso.
I'm really pleased to use my felt flower I made as well.
The double frame around the photo is paper then washi tape.
The Spring heading and flowers are stickers.

July Mini kit

I've put together a July Mini kit which I will also use this month.
It is mainly 5 papers in the primary colours plus P/L cards and a few stickers.

Here's the original kit that I based it on.

Scrapping Everyday Miracles July sketch

This is the sketch challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles for July.

I've found some photos from Musee D'Orsay in Paris and used a gold doiley (barely visible) as my circle. There is also misting and gesso on there.

Hop on over and join in the fun!
