Shopping our stash wants leaves.
I've just made this card to say thank you to a friend.
While I was there, I made this second card using the same background paper.
Shopping our stash wants leaves.
I've just made this card to say thank you to a friend.
While I was there, I made this second card using the same background paper.
The challenge at Farmquest is farmyard cutting tools.
I searched high and low and finally found this journal card which I made into a birthday card for a grandfather,
Here's the end of the month sketch at Sketches in Thyme.
I've chosen 3 photos from a friend's beautiful garden at Port Macquarie.
I used several narrow branding strips from papers. Most had a floral theme so that worked well. I had a Kaisercraft strip of flowers so used that across the top. I added extra small leaves on the right-hand side because my 3 photos are off centre slightly.
The pink is as close as I had to the salmon colour.
I've made this card for crafty gals corner.
They asked for ribbon on a card.
I've used 2 strips of ribbon plus some antique lace.
Next, I made this card with a summer theme. I still have some St Tropez journalling cards from Prima which are summer beach themed. I used this one with background paper featuring flip flops (thongs here in Australia). Then I had some stickers of bikini girls so used 2 on this card.
I'm entering this at A place to start.
I'm on to my last piece of paper from my Counterfeit Kit.
The challenge is to use black accents on our page.
I had photos of a bouquet I was given for my birthday so used those.
As they are so colourful, the flowers around the photos in black and white provide the necessary contrast.
I used a combination of paper flowers I had plus Peterloo net flowers and butterfly. I also added a darkroom door filmstrip I found plus matted my photos in black as well.
Here's another layout I have made for my 70th birthday album.
I used a sketch from last year that I made another layout from. It is a good one for 3 photos plus I used ribbon and 3 journal tags.
This is a friend I have known for over 30 years. We get on so well.
I'm in the middle of scrapping my 70th Birthday photos and this was a surprise gift I received from a friend up North.
The teal paper plus the pink flowers and stickers are from my Counterfeit kit.
My alphas are cheap ones I bought at a local chain store and once they are stuck you can't move them.
Everything else is from my stash.
At Cardz 4 guyz they want a nautical theme.
I've made this card using background waves paper then added a fussy cut tugboat from an old picture dictionary.
I used mini alphas for my sentiment.
Here is the picture for White with One plus soul scrappers.
I used the same stencil as I did on the previous card. Also, on here are 4 photos of a cafe we visited while on holiday. I added some stamped bees to link in the fact I bought honey at this shop.
I added wood veneers plus black hearts from the alpha pack.
From my Counterfeit kit I added the word BREKKY which finished off the mini alphas.
I made this card for Stencil fun using a Kaisercraft stencil and some orange paint.
I punched flowers in autumn colours then added my butterfly on top of one flower. The sentiment suits the card.
Our kit this month is based on Cocoa Daisy Daily journal kit.
PAPERS
The papers are a mix of green, turquoise, black and white and orange.
So, I started with that.
Here are my papers
There's a prevalence of greens, but also turquoises, black (I didn't have much) and a couple of neutral sheets. There's a tiny bit of orange on one paper.
I can add orange paint etc.
EMBELLISHMENTS AND POCKET CARDS
Here are my embellishments thrown on top of my papers. In other words, my full kit
