I only had 2 photos of my daughter when she was "best person" for a male friend at his wedding.
Instead of the 3rd photo I used a lage protea as it matched her bouquet. My title wouldn't fit on the tag so it went underneath.

At Cardz4guyz they want a sport without balls.
A male birthday card is always handy and with many of my friends turning 70 this year I thought this was appropriate.
This is for Die cut Divas. They want us to use something never used before. In my case it is the wood veneer 70 numbers.
I have also included the gold sparkly die cut heart.
This card is for inkspirational challenge where we are asked to make our own background.
I started with a stencil and misted through it. I didn't notice at first it was dribbling down the side of the bottle, hence the blobs. I decided I liked the blobs as it gives a more "arty" look.
I used 3 small Monet stickers from Paper House. This gives it a definite arty feel. I used a small sentiment that says "Good friends are hard to find".
It will work for either male or female.
I added the plain grey strip to a houndstooth background and added some large yellow chipboard brackets.
This is my first Easter card for this year.
I made another layout today for Sketches in Thyme.
The corner paper was blue and pink but his jumper was orange so I chose shades of pink and apricot for my punched flowers. There are a couple of vellum flowers also.
This was when I gave my old car to my great nephew, who greatly appreciates it.
Today I'm making cards from left over papers and other bits in my kit.
My first is a card for Cut it up.
We must use a die cut so I have put a slice of watermelon on my card. The sentiment is from the same pack.
I also used a flair button which was in a new set from Bramble Fox. It says long hot summer which is exactly what we are having here in Australia.
My ice cream background paper goes well with it don't you think?
At Challenge YOUrself they want
With that in mind, I scrapped the remaining 3 photos of the tamarins at Mogo Zoo.
I put them in a sequence and if you look at the one on the left you will see he comes and grabs the container, then puts his hand in to get the fruit then is eating the fruit. 3 photos taken seconds apart.
I used a paper from my kit with teapots all over it but, ultimately, they are hidden. I used vellum as my matting and put a strip of ribbon vertically on the vellum.
To add interest on the right -hand side I sloped my 2 journal cards plus the title. I used a doiley sticker then added wood veneer birds and a cage. Enamel dots finish this layout off.

Yesterday I had some green paint left over so I made this layout.
Today I made a funny card for The Male Room
I've used this sketch from Paper Issues today (8/1) to create a layout for Mystical Scrapbooking January challenge.
I used paint in the teal colour through a spotted stencil to start off. Then I found pink grossgrain ribbon.
After searching my embellishments, I found a few chipboard tags and watermelon and a mole. I added these forming my main cluster. My title is on the left with 2 photo corners highlighting it.
I've made another 3 layout today. The first one is for soul scrappers.
I used offcuts and strips on here which helped clear up smaller papers. The band across is washi tape and title plus "fun" card are journal cut aparts. The red hearts added some zing!
Next is for Freaky Fast formula at the scraproom.
This third layout is just for fun.
I used the other half of the blue paper on the rhino layout. More of the vellum which I tore to look like waves. The fish are chipboard that I covered using Liquid pearls. I used washi tape as a border on 3 sides then a strip I cut off some Kaisercraft paper at the top.
I chose another sheet of star paper to match yesterday's "tamarin and me".layout.
These photos are close ups of the animals and the keeper managed to get a tongue out photo.
I had 3 blue frames so cut one in half. The gum leaves hide that fact. I hand drew the wavy lines.
