The challenge at Pile it on is to use black and white and a pop of colour.
I've used a paper featuring tickets which is mainly black and white with a pop of pink.
I've decided to use pink ribbon and tied a bow(lopsided) around the base of the card.
There were die cuts of handbags and shoes in my January Counterfeit kit so it is a good chance to use them. My sentiment or number is understated.
The theme is for a smart teenager interested in fashion.

Crazy 4 challenges
At Crazy4challenges we are asked to "make it pop".
Firstly my card is for POP. I left the centre in the O to look like a target & make it pop.
Next the background is the colour of popcorn
Finally, I mounted the poker chip that says "Undisputed champion of the world" on pop dots.
That's enough popping from me!

Cute card Thursday
My next card is also for a male, but this time a boy.
The challenge at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.co.uk/ is Just boys.
I've used torn card and white liquid pearls on this one. The wood veneer fox looks good on any card.

cardz 4 guyz
http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.co.uk/ has asked for spots and stripes.
I've kept my card reasonably plain as it is for an older man.
I enjoyed using the brown/lime/blue combo on this.

4 crafty chicks (sport)
Yesterday I was at a crop day.
I wrote the challenge down cut didn't take the necessary ingredients.
So, I've been creative on this one as I had the 2 fishing stickers.
This is for Challenge #282 sports at 4 crafty chicks

CKC Blog hop-Sketch n scrap & Challenge #3
This is the mid monthly sketch at sketch n scrap.
And Challenge #3 at CKC is repeated stamping. I'm combining the 2 challenges.
I've chosen a new Santa stamp to use.
I repeat stamped it all over the background to make it look more festive.
I'm pleased to have used the October afternoon apple slice (bottom right) and the roulette chip which says winner(next to photo) and the so sweet sticker(top left). These were all "one offs" I put in my kit to use.
The chevron lime green & white is a lolly bag so my journaling will go on a tag inside there.
These are made by my daughter every year at Christmas and are delicious!
Here's the order of the blog hop. We hope you will join in and don't forget to leave a comment!

Kraft plus challenge
Over at Kraft Plus challenges we have been asked to use handwriting on your entry.
I've always liked handwriting, so chose to enter this.
Here is my layout
I used something new on this. I was a little bit afraid of the black texture paste, especially with the clock mask .I was pleasantly surprised it turned out.
I've chosen neutral papers to match the 1970s photo of my parents with Dad's brother & his wife.
I also carried on the circle theme with the cork clock and disc on the tag plus the enamel dots.
I've even used more black texture paste through a mask above the photo.

Allsorts challenges
Over at http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com.au/ they want girly and sparkly.
In my Counterfeit kit this month was an ATC featuring a chipboard fairy.
I used white liquid pearls for her body and pink glitter on her skirt.
I mounted this card on a sticker from my kit.
The background has been painted with Li'l Davis Metallic shades Rose paint. It shimmers in the light.
I've added a row of pink rhinestones and a number 4 to finish it off.

Cardz4guyz #103 and Seize the Birthday
At http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.co.uk/ the challenge is to use mainly blue.
I've made a card for a 5 year old boy since I had some patterned paper featuring cars. Here it is.
That black mark on the 2nd row of cars is on the platen, not on the card.
The diamante brad adds to the girly look.
The number was cut from the same sheet as the last card.(Using up those numbers)

and at Seize the Birthday the theme is clean and simple (That's me!)

Shopping our stash & crafty Hazelnut
My December counterfeit kit featured dusty red & green papers. I still have a few left.
At Shopping Our Stash they want SOMETHING NEW.
I recently was given some white liquid pearls........brilliant stuff!
After making the card I have traced the lines between the flowers with liquid pearls to highlight them.
I rather like the effect.

Mod squad challenges
I've made a friendship card for Mod Squad challenges
I started by matching up 2 narrower strips featuring Japanese ladies. This made the background.
Next I added the Kaiser Friends card......the criteria for this challenge.
I used some offcuts of embossed pink card and 2 buttons from my counterfeit kit.
I'm happy with how this turned out.

Curtain call challenge.
The elements in this picture set me thinking.
Then I found this pack.
I've used floral paper dress, the ring and the colour pink on my card, as featured in the inspirational photo. The sentiment says "Keep smiling because life is beautiful and there is so much to smile about".
Color Throwdown #375 & Hiding in my craft room
Here's the colour combo at Color Throwdown.
And as it features 3 of my favourite colours, I'm joining in.
Here's my card
I'm also entering this on http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/ where it is Super Scraps Saturday and we are asked to use scraps on our card. This has been made from left over alphas, cardstock, stickers and paper.

Scrapping Everyday Miracles card challenge.
It is now over 40 degrees here in Sydney, so I'm spending the day crafting.
This is the card sketch at Scrapping Everyday Miracles.
I'm using more items from my Counterfeit Kit on this card
The cupcake paper mentioned in an earlier post had spots between the rows.
These strips of spots were good for this card.
I've used more Kaisercraft flowers and sentiment plus the last skeleton leaf.

Craft Barn
I followed Jackie Edwards to the Craft barn, where they are working through the alphabet with themes for cards.
This recent one is the letter B.
I've made a Birthday card for a 12 year old girl, who is very girly.
My card features BOWS.
I layered a journaling card on top of a sticker then added 2 bows.
My quote is at the bottom.
All these items including the numbers are from my Counterfeit Kit.

Challenge #2 Create a card and matching tag.
This is the #136 sketch at Feeling sketchy.
I used this as the basis of my design.
All the papers and embellishments are from Kaisercraft.
The tag will probably end up as a card too.

Scrap Much
This paper is in my Counterfeit Kit as is the Bella one featuring cupcakes.
Too much pattern there for me!
So I flipped them both to consider the B sides.
and this one
Much more civilised.
Now to attempt another challenge.
This one from Scrap Much fits the bill!
This layout is about my first view from the aeroplane of Uluru.
Let me assure you it is massive.
As I ran out of g I've used 9s on my layout. They work just as well.
And upon reflection I could have used the cupcake side of the Bella paper as it can barely be seen.
Seize the Birthday
At Seize the Birthday it is Anything goes.
I've used a clock stamp in 2 colours as my background, first in "old paper" distress ink then in black.
I've also used a chevron sticker down the side then a tag, brad and number strip along the bottom.

Tuesday Taggers and numbers & letters challenge
This challenge at Tuesday taggers asks for numbers and letters in any form.
I've used both on this layout, featuring many items from my Counterfeit Kit.
The paper is from October Afternoon.
The pink card with eyelets is from the cover of an old notebook with twine through the eyelet holes,
The top flower that matches Phryne's dress is from scrappers garden.
The big white flower is Bella. Here's a close up of that area featuring strips of letters and numbers

I've also used a vintage button and braid on this layout.
The blue paper has a shimmer, which blends in with the dress fabric.
I couldn't resist the moustache flair which is evocative of the 1920s,despite this being a girly layout.
Really Reasonable ribbon challenge
Over at Really Reasonable Ribbon the challenge is "Looky what I've got".
I've interpreted that as using something new or special.
I've had this ribbon featuring cameras, for a little while and it is too special to hide in a cupboard.
So, I've made a male card for a Dad.

4 crafty chicks Tropical
At http://4craftychicks.blogspot.com.au/ the theme is Tropical.
This gave me the opportunity to use a pack of Birch Embellishments I've had for ages.
I've arranged them to look like a beach scene. The background is watercolour paint.
My sentiment says "holiday" and is hand written.
Makes me wish I was swimming somewhere.
The right flip flop fell down,it is now standing up next to the other and you can read the sentiment.

Kaisercraft's January Sketch challenge
http://www.kaisercraft.com.au/blog/
Just create a layout using the following sketch as inspiration, with at least 80% Kaisercraft products from any Kaisercraft paper collection. The Sketch board is inspired by the wonderful and talented Kylie Obst’
I've used a combination of Kaisercraft ranges on my layout.
The backing paper is from "Chapter One", my favourite collection.
The next layer is from "Blue Bay" collection.
My collectables are from the "Oh so happy" collection and the flowers & enamel dots are also Kaisercraft.
In fact the only things on this layout not from Kaisercraft are the alphas and the embroidery cotton.
First some close ups of the stitching
and the flower cluster ,with the bird I couldn't resist sitting on top.
As it was a cat layout I felt the bird was appropriate.
I've made them eye to eye despite Jazz being asleep.
And here's my layout
The colours from the different ranges matched so well on this layout.

White with 1
The colour being green, I just had to join in .
I started by using the last of a glimmer mist in an experiment.
Instead of spraying I poured it on to the plastic Finnibar mask then quickly smoothed it through the holes with a baby wipe (or 3). Messy business!
However I rather like the effect, instead of dots it looks more like cucumber slices.
After drying that, I dribbled a few stray drops randomly.
Next I applied texture paste through the same mask then stamped arrow shapes in the gaps.
I matted my photo on some scraps of patterned paper, then added my journaling tag (Chapter One by Kaisercraft paper on chipboard).
To finish off there are enamel dots and wood veneer arrows.
My alphas are the closest green I could buy to the colour.
