Shopping our stash and Tuesday morning sketches

I've made a card for Shopping our stash.

It is for a grandfather and I've found Poppy is a well used derivative for that. I used gold and yellows mainly on my card with a tiny frame in green. I also inked my 2 inch square with pinecone ink to age it.

Into the father's day box it goes.

Next card is for a sketch at Tuesday Morning sketches

I used the same background paper on this one plus a butterfly and some kisses.

Lovely card using sketch #3, it's a classic sketch and so easy to put together. I like the distressing to age the card and so cute to use the word Poppy. Thanks for playing along with us at Shopping our Stash for Lets get Sketchy.
