Sketch Saturday

I had some Retirement scrapbooking paper that I have used up on Retirement cards.
My first card is for Sketch Saturday  and I have used the navy and green tones for a man.
I see no need for a sentiment.

ABC Christmas challenge and Feeling Sketchy

I've made a start today on Christmas cards. This one is for ABC Christmas challenges where L is for Love and M is for Movie.
My card is L is for love. The middle layered section is meant to look like Santa's belt, with the sentiment from the Beatles.
Love is old
Love is new
Love is all
Love is you.

My second card is for Feeling Sketchy, also with a Christmas flavour.

Here's my card featuring 5 wood veneer teddy bears.

Artastic

I've made this layout for Artastic where the theme is words.
On the B side of a paper from my counterfeit kit was these large words.
It is actually wedding paper,so I went hunting for some photos. I found 2 with Mum and Dad plus us at the door of the church.
I found another paper which had family words and used it for my mat. It says I love my family and together forever.Between the 2 busy papers I have used black to break up all that business.
I then added a gold vine down the right hand side plus a journal tag and tail. I kept it simple with embellishments as the layout is so busy already.

Paper girls

Fontana della Barcaccia, Piazza di Spagna is found at the bottom of the Spanish steps in Rome. I put the brief history on my layout.
Here is an official picture

At Paper Girls they want circles.
Using my Counterfeit kit, I cut 6 circles from blue and pink then arranged them on my page. Next I dribbled violet mist across the paper.
After placing my photo I arranged the alphas around the edges to add some interest.
The negative from the Os on the set of alphas made a good corner piece.I added avy spotted washi tape to add balance and a tiny strip of pink as my subtitle.

Festive Friday plus Always fun.

I'm trying to keep warm here as it is 10 degrees C or 48 degrees F here in Australia.
Festive Friday has this challenge

I've been tidying through my bits and pieces basket and found some die cuts that will work.
The "sun" and other yellow circle could be a lemon sliced. But for this we will just say yellow.
The orange leaf was from another set of die cuts.
I used glittery alphas to say TRUST. Then I added pink in the fox washi tape I had.
The 3 criteria are covered.

This will go into my get well box. Sometimes people having operations need to remember to trust their doctors. I'm sure it will sell, it looks happy.
**********************************************************************
Next I have a random card for Always fun challenges.

I've used a tag , a butterfly and the embossed paper scrap from my counterfeit kit.
You'll notice it is the same background paper again, this time running vertically..

Lasting Memories

My layout is for the 4th challenge at Lasting Memories.

The criteria was to use bling or sparkle.
I kept the background to my photo neutral. The strip running across was actually Christmas paper but suited this photo. I used gold bling, lace ,corrugated cardboard, a gold sticker and a sheet of baroque music torn from an old encyclopedia.
Venice is a magical place and its buildings certainly sparkle.

Little Red wagon and Modsquad

At Little red wagon they have animal antics.

I've made a card with a fussy cut butterfly as well as paw print paper. It is for a friend whose dog died. I thought it will cheer her up.
My sentiment on a tag says "Forever".

The other card I madfe is for Modsquad where they want fruit.
I found a picture of apricotsin an old picture dictionary and fussy cut around it. I mounted it on matching paper and added my sentiment. For a finishing touch I added gold brads. Hope you like it.

Paper Issues sketch.

Next up is a sketch at Paper Issues.
I'm combining my counterfeit kit and a few of the Covid 19 die cuts on this layout.

During the pandemic I made muffins which were good to freeze for later as well as to eat.
I usually have a muffin with coffee if I'm out shopping so had to content myself with this instead.

When we finally could go out I saw this sign at the Muffin shop and have been humming the song ever since.

Paper Issues Take 5

This is the take 5 challenge at Paper Issues on facebook.

I've chosen Orange, banners, paper strips, grid lines and vellum.

This is one of my Covid 19 layouts using the kit I bought from Mystical Scrapbooking.

Scrap our stash

Today, I'm continuing to use my Counterfeit Kit for this challenge at Scrap our stash.

It is a photo of some ruined columns in Pompeii, which was a fascinating place!
I've used 5 pattern papers, including the large butterfly I fussy cut, and the mat behind my photo.
I've used washi tape, pearl bling on the wings, stitching to show the butterflies' path and 2 brads to hold my tag. (4 embellishments)
It is a 3 word title
There are 2 types of alphas, Kaisercraft and Bo Bunny.
1 photo. I'm finished and here it is!
