Cardz4guyz.& others.

Here's a card for Cardz4guyz. The challenge is blue and brown.
I've had an argyle patterned paper in my stash which is brown, blue and pink.
I'm hoping you don't mind the pink because I'm doing a happy dance that I can finally use this paper.
Once again a Father's Day card as it is coming up in September.

Tropical
My next Card is for If you give a crafter a cookie.

In my counterfeit kit (tropical) there was both ice cream paper and die cuts.

I simply arranged them on this card and added some enamel dots.

Home and scrapped sketch

Primary Colours

Here is the sketch challenge at Home and Scrapped.

and here is my take on it using my Primary colours kit.

The scrap Room

PRIMARY COLOURS

This is a sketch for The scrap room.

I'm also combining it with a tic tac toe from Paper Issues.

I've gone straight across the bottom row.

I've stuck to the colours of red white and blue mainly with a small dotty paper in the background.

The stitching is down the left hand side of the photos, holding the buttons in place.

The enamel dots are under the doiley and up the top on the right.

Apologies for the top photos quality, the koala moved fast and I wanted to catch him standing upright, a rare sight.

Stars and stripes

PRIMARY COLOURS

Paper Issues has a stars and stripes challenge.
I've used a background paper from Bella as well as scraps which I fussy cut into stars. The washi tape down the left hand side is also striped.
The tiny red stars are like enamel dots.

I chose traditional red white and blue on this one.

Unstampabelles.

Tropical

Unstampabelles has a challenge to use a fancy frame or edge.

I'm using 2 of my papers from the tropical Counterfeit Kit to make this birthday card.
Using a border punch on the ice cream paper I have created a lacy edge. It sets off my rosette perfectly.

Hotel Chill

I'm scrap-lifting with this layout. It is based on this layout I saw on scrapbooking.com and was made by Marnel.

I loved the fact that she has used lots of scraps and so have scratched through my blues and greens to come up with my effort.
I've also used string, 2 x ricrac, a shiny clear chiffon ribbon plus buttons.
The two ivory(?) or bone rings are from an old button box.
My title and the flower on the right are from Crate Paper "Oasis" range.

This last one is a massive amount with 2 pads of 36 papers!

I won't be using them all up, just those that "speak to me" when I look through them.

I'm keen to get started on this kit and will add extra embellishments ,alphas etc as needed. 

That should keep me busy through July.
