Mod squad challenge

The other day I fussy cut some roses for a layout.
I'm left with the green paper that surrounded them.
At Mod squad Challenge they want us to use 3 patterned paper.
I used the green as my starting point then added a scrap square of co-ordinating green stripes.
Across the middle and bottom I used houndstooth.
I finished with a tag using 2 strips of washi tape.

Believe it or not I'm starting on Father's day with this one. Male cards always sell for me.

I also made this second card for Sketch'n'scrap's beginning of the year challenges.
They wanted at least one sticker.
They are all stickers from my kit and the final touch is a tiny burlap bow.
This card will be for a Birthday.
I'm also entering it at cute card thursday where anything goes.

Hi Julene. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment. It's a fun challenge, and I'm glad you played along as well. As a matter of fact, I also run another challenge blog. It's called Word Art Wednesday, and I'd like to personally invite you to stop by and play along with us. Our challenges are always Anything Goes so you can always link up anything you create. And...we offer AWESOME prizes, too. I hope you will link up there as well. I look forward to seeing your art shared there.
Blessings,
