Catch up post and some Retreat peeks.

Last weekend I went to a retreat in Gundagai NSW named the Gundy spectacular.
This is the 3rd year I've been and it is always great fun.
We made 2 layouts taught by Kim Kendall.
This first one involved lots of fussy cutting and layering with foam tape.

The second, I don't have a photo on yet but it again had lots of layering and texture paste work.
(I discovered the merits of black texture paste!)
and a close up showing the layering.

Next we did a crazy scrap by passing a layout around the 20 of us and each person adds one thing.

I haven't decided what to do about that yet!

Kylie Tout from Scrapping clearly ran an acrylic album class
Here's Kylie's album. Mine is still unfinished.
Where Kylie's is pinks & purples, mine is yellow & lime.

Next we made a memory file, which is like a folder with integrated folders inside.
This is a partial peep at mine

In the middle of this class we had a thunderstorm and a blackout.
20 of us had only one light in the whole room, a tiny battery operated desk lamp

A big weekend of scrapping and socialising.

Next is our MOVEMBER crop last night.

Here I am (on the left) wearing my sticker mo and trying to smile.
I managed to finish another memory file I'm making for a Christmas gift.
My best friend turned 60 this year.

And later last night I made Christmas cards

Bottom right just needs a sentiment.

Wow - you've been busy! I've never heard of black texture paste but it looks interesting. I really like that memory file. I've always wanted to try one.
