International Talk like a pirate day is held each year on September 19th.

It has been going for more than 10 years and continues to be popular throughout the world.
When my daughter was at University they did it as a fundraiser.

Over at Lollipop ladies the challenge is for Pirate Lollipops with the additional criteria of water.
In my case, I've made my pirate ship sail on a sea of lace.

What a great layout! I love your little pirate ship at the bottom. Every year, I mean to "celebrate" talk like a pirate day, but never manage to remember in time. Maybe this year. : )
