At ABC Christmas challenge they want W for white or X for Xtra special
I've gone with W for White. I started off with shimmer card then then stamped a Christmas tree in the oval shape. I also stamped the sentiment.

This is the new sketch at Lasting Memories
I'm using more of my Counterfeit kit here. The American crafts moon background paper made a good dark background for the pretty tags from Maggie Holmes. I've used a neutral layer then a clear and black acetate striped piece.
We visited "PULP" restaurant in Canberra which has the theme of books. I've mounted my 2 photos on book paper mats. You might notice my bookworm on one of the tags as well.
I used the 3rd photo as my title. It says all stories are love stories.
Now that I look at the finished layout, I think it is too busy, but I wanted to use the moon paper and we had to have stripes.
We are asked to scraplift ,so I have chosen the second one as I have 2 photos.
I started with the top layering in tones of cream and green. In my kit I put some ATC featuring cooking themes, so I added one of those plus a pie graph journal circle.
Next, I used a mask and green paint to add some colour to my background.
To mat my photos, I've done some major recycling.
I had a box from Crabtree and Evelyn soaps with the inside being lime green. That did one photo mat plus I cut out the lemon picture. Also, I had a plastic notebook cover with holes cut out which I used for the second mat. I had a small piece left to trace around for the lemon slices on my layout.
I added my title and a few other embellishments including brads
The theme at Shopping our stash is buttons and bows.
I'm using up scrabble alphas on here plus I added a row of buttons and a tiny silver bow.
I had a landscape photo to use so turned the photo mat sideways. I used clock faces to represent time that I spent sleeping and the moon paper for night. The atlas paper was used again as I was travelling.
My daughter is BIG on Halloween celebrations. I took these photos while visiting her last weekend.
It resulted in 3 layouts, all using CKC kit papers etc.
I've used more of the snowflake paper on here (which I'm trying to hide on my layouts). It has a similar cobalt colour.I used other blues from my kit on here as well.
For construction of this layout, I used the Freaky fast formula at The Scrap room. My 2x11 piece is the filmstrip from Darkroom Door.
