CDC December Daily Day #15 and Li'l red wagon

 

Day #15 is Buttons or flair. 

I don't have any Flair so I guess it looks like buttons.

I don't have many green buttons so added pinks.

I've made another card, this time for Li'l Red wagon.

They want anything Christmas. I started with the pink reindeer paper then added a strip of gold lace border down the right hand side. My sentiment was a small cut apart card from a Kaisercraft set. I double mounted it on red then green striped festive paper and also added 2 words from a Jillybean soup sticker sheet.

CDC December Daily Day #14

 

Day #14 is ribbon,twine or trim.

I've added gold ribbon,plain twine and a gold cord.

3 cards.

 I've taken time out from making a kit to actually making some cards.

I used my kit papers and embellishments.

The left hand one has a border strip plus washi tape in silver. The black sentiment made a good contrast.

I'm entering this at AAA Cards

The middle card is using lots of washi tape. I made a tag using 3 washi tapes on the diagonal. I also added 3 strips of washi across the bottom.

The right hand card uses a tab saying hello plus a strip of ribbon and a wood veneer crown.

All are a modern twist on Christmas cards.

CKC December daily #13

 

Today's prompt is wood veneers. I didn't have many to fit in with Christmas theme however I found 2 birds and some crowns so added those. I also added some gingerbread men just because I can 

CKC December daily Day #12

 

Today's prompt is Washi tape.

To do this I matched them back to the original chip it.

I put the silver in because of the greyish blues.

Day #11's prompt is metallic. I've bought some gold doilies to add to the kit.

Day #10 wants Cardstock paper.

As most of this kit will become cards, I added 2 shades of green cardstock and several sheets of each.

This will form my basis for the cards.
