Digging into the kit I'm making for December, I found the original pink tree paper, so used that as my background.
I had 2 die cuts a tab in red and white stripes and a scalloped edge in green spots. I used a black sentiment and added a wood veneer star.
I'm not a bling person but have chosen a few bits that might be used. They are all pearls rather than rhinestones.
I've managed to make another card. This one is for Sketch and Scrap on Facebook
It is all using bits from my December daily kit.
I'm entering this layout in 2 challenges. Challenge Yourself and Kraft plus.
The scrap challenge yourself is anything goes and I'm in the photo on the left hand side wearing a red feathered collar. (I felt like a chook!!)
At Kraft plus the challenge is rainbow colours. I chose the patterned Kraft paper featuring clouds. It's a Bella paper named Cloudy Days. As my mat I used another Bella paper featuring rainbow stripes.
I misted with purple through a circle stencil then overlapped my photo and mat. I added a bow of string (twine) with yellow tipped ends. On the opposite corner there's a purple flower plus a painted wood veneer branch. Going through a checklist of the rainbow colours, they're all there. I didn't want to add too much colour and detract from the photo of Robyn and I dressed up at a Librarian's conference, about 20 years ago.
Today's prompt is a sticker sheet.
I do use stickers on cards but not often.
I gathered 3 lots of partially used stickers in this case. One is a border strip one is candy canes and the other is plain cork shapes that I can incorporate.
I'm back again!
Today's prompt is sentiments.
I cut sentiments from old Christmas cards so have a bag of those I often use on cards.
I used the peppermint sticker that I added to my kit (Day #8), plus some Christmas paper and a recycled sentiment on this card.
It is for ABC Christmas Challenge where it is Y for Yummy. These peppermints look good enough to eat!
