The challenge at Cardz4galz is to use Kraft.
I've made a Kraft card then added more kraft as my sentiment.
It is a mum card, slightly early for Mother's Day by about 8 months.

The studio challenges
The studio challenge gave us this sketch.

Perfect for the layout I wanted to make as well as using more of my Counterfeit Kit.
On this one I used one of the sunburst papers as my photo mat then took my cue from there.
I used cork border strip plus a yellow paper zigzag border on top.
The yellow title plus the buttons and camera are also co-ordinating.
The actual photo was taken at a strange angle...tuppence was on top of my wall unit,so the camera was at the end of my extended arms.

Pile it on
Next, it is a card for pile it on.
I misted the wood veneer from Melissa Frances.
The hessian (burlap) is recycled from an old fancy dress costume Mum made me as a kid.
I stitched the tag using zigzag. The brad ,tag and backing paper are from my counterfeit kit.

Stuck?!

Here is the new sketch at Stuck?! sketches.
I've used an old Basic Grey paper as my background, named "double cream" (now I want a coffee).
I misted it with green then layered several scraps of papers I had ready.
I added camera ribbon, twine for the tag, a brad featuring a cotton tape flag from Prima plus my title.
It is particularly good that I have used the cream frame.

Scrapping Outback
At Scrapping Outback this month.
They want the colours WHITE with Navy Blue tones, Grey and Kraft.
Using my Counterfeit Kit, I found a word "retire" in my stash which led me to the 2 photos.
I matted using a variety of papers featuring the above colours. My feature is the cork border.
The 2 brads holding that are dark grey. I fussy-cut a grey fish as well.
My chipboard is the 3 fishes swimming along the cork.(I left this raw or "grey")
We 3
This is my first layout using my September Counterfeit kit and it is NOT for a challenge.
Over the past week I have been taking photos out of those sticky back albums from the 1970s.
Among them I found a photo taken around 1992.
My sister received an award from the local council for 25 years of caring for children.
Mum and I went to give her moral support as a speech was involved.
I've used a gold misted piece of cardstock which I made myself. Pop back for Forgeries on the 4th.

I've used the papers in this last picture for the creation of my kit.
Here's the papers. (I totally left out the black & white writing one.)
It occurred to me that with the ochres, pale blues and bright yellow that these are the colours of Australia.
Modestly I named my kit "Australia".
Extra papers
The orange striped paper sent me on a diversion. I found 3 sunbursts in my kit so included those.
One had a rust tone with matching plain paper.
They replaced the woodtones.
I've included a cork looking piece and some cork border strips for texture plus 3 neutrals.
Now here's the order of our blog hop.
A warm welcome to our Guest Designer Jess.
