A little gift for my readers

White with One

I went all arty with this layout for "white with one". The colour was red and it had to include brackets.I put those around the sculpture of a globe.It was an amazing place full of famous art works.

More inspiration

I've just done the rounds of the regular sites I visit. Maxine has inspired me to do a canvas.There is also a cybercrop at Mad featuring music and puzzlesketches has gone flowery. With the continual rainy weather,there's an excuse to stay inside and create!

I saw this"Little me" layout on 2 peas and have scraplifted it,with some variation, for one of the contests.(No copying to those who are also doing the same crops). My take is called "Tralee" and features the green fields of Ireland.....gorgeous colour in that grass...to be sure, to be sure!

An amazing trip to Europe.

I'm back from our amazing trip to Europe with so many memories that it is hard to summarise them.I've taken over 1500 photos so plenty there to scrapbook.We visited Ireland,Scotland,England,Paris,Milan,Venice,Florence,Rome,Rhodes and Athens.

I've seen many famous monuments like Eiffel Tower,Leaning tower of Pisa,The Colloseum,The Trevi Fountain,Isle of Capri,Bridge of sighs,St Marks Square,The Vatican,st Peters Basillica,Big Ben,Tower of London,Globe Theatre,The LOndon Eye,Cliffs of Moher,Ring of Kerry,Londonderry,Westminster Abbey,York Cathedral,the shambles, etc. At this stage I'm still trying to believe I actually went....but it is true.

The album was a hit!

Bernadette was so excited by her early birthday present. I received hugs and kisses for the album.The 3 kids all had a look at themselves in the album and remarked on their photos.I think it will be a treasured memory jogger for them

Children's album done.

I've been working on an album for over 3 years for my nephew's wife,Bernadette.It features layouts of her 3 children going back over their young lives. Many of them appear on here. I plan to present the album to her later this week.I feel a real sense of achievement for actually finishing it.I'm sure for her there will be lots ofhappy memories,especially as the children grow up.

Puzzle scrapping

I've had this saying from Mark Twain for ages and it inspired me to do a layout of Christopher digging in the garden.The Sassafrass Lass paper features hedgehogs, which go with the digging theme, so I decided to use them as a feature.I hand cut the star from chipboard and am pleased with how it looks.I'm not sure that I particularly like hacking photos into pieces like this, I prefer them whole!Also the blobs of paint were a requirement but could have been left out too.

Only just over a week until I go away now and getting more excited by the day.
