This was one of the first classes I taught. It was sink or swim with this lot, hence the quote/title.
I have used embellishments that represent all the disciplines or subjects eg flowers for science, grid for maths, globe for geography, numbers & clock for arithmetic, alphabet across the top for reading etc.These kids are all 46 now!! EEK.

This looked like a cool challenge! I couldn't get the hang of this, but it sounds like you hit all the requirements. Love the retro photo - I have a few of those myself!
