Holly and the Ivy challenge and Christmas card throwdown.

 My next card is for the Holly and the Ivy challenge where it is anything goes.

I've used 3 more small wood veneer trees on this card with a wooden background. It gives a male aspect to me. I often have requests for men's Christmas cards so this will definitely sell.

At 52 Christmas card throwdown there is a recycling challenge.

I've made this card using some packaging that looks like fabric for my neutral reindeer background.

I used an offcut from a 12x12 paper pad featuring stripes on rest of my card.

The ribbon was cut from a label tag from something I bought

and my sentiment came from an old Christmas card. So, the only new things are the 2 reindeers.

Peace on Earth challenge

I remembered I had some wood veneer reindeers so used those plus a pine tree. I put them on wood patterned background paper that has snowflakes.

I like this one as it is a manly looking card .

While I had them out, I actually made 4 similar cards using red and green reindeers.

Allsorts challenge

 A friend gave me some paper tole items for Christmas card making. Here's my first one.

That bear wearing mittens has 5 layers. Accompanying it was the label that said "Forever friends" which I used as my sentiment. It's a fairly plain card but some people like the pastel look. In my sale box it goes!

I'm entering it at Allsorts challenge where the theme is cute and cuddly. A teddy bear is definitely both cute and cuddly.

The strip down the middle is gold papery ribbon. I recycled the circular sentiment from another Christmas card I was sent last yesr.I decided to put my sentiment in the circle instead of at the bottom left. 

Festive Friday and Crafty Catz

 

It's odd socks day at Festive Friday so they want us to choose 3 things from the list.

I have gone with bold colours, sequins and "Be Yourself"

I actually made 3 cards using this paper.

Next, I have a card for Crafty Catz

The criteria ia Anything goes and use dies or punches.

The pale green square is a die cut and the Christmas bauble is also a die cut. I added the black bow and drew in the cord from the top of it.

It also is for CAS on Sunday where they asked us to use a corner of your card. 

Cardz4guyz

 At Cardz4guyz they want something starting with T.

I made this card using a tiger I fussy cut from an old children's book. I added a matching colourful strip behind my sentiment. 

It will be a thank you card for a neighbour.

I've made this card which was inspired by the background paper. WAVES.

I cut out extra coloured "oval" shapes to add on top of the waves..
