Dragonfly dreams and others

At dragonfly dreams they want Christmas or winter.
Cardz4guyz wants a similar theme

I've chosen a snowflake theme for my card. The sentiment and small snowflakes are from a Kaisercraft set of embellishments.

Also at Tuesday Throwdown they want punny sentiments.
I made a bon voyage card with the sentiment Travel notes. I used music paper as my background.
Thereby a pun on the word notes.
I added keys as the keys to your hotel room door.

Avenue 613

At  613 Avenue there is an anything goes challenge with an option to scrap your stash.

I'm finishing off this month's kit so used a photo of us at Cirque Du Soleil. I started by layering all the strips of paper I had left ,tearing the edges.
Next I matted my photo then made a banner for top left from scraps.
I used the 2 remaining tags I had plus tickets, a button, a wood veneer star and fussy cut 2 cameras from another scrap of paper.
The 2 grey corner triangles added to the diagonal line.

All this left me with nothing in my kit. I have thoroughly scrapped my stash.
Here's proof !
Nothing left in my tray or on the paper stacker.

Shopping our stash

This is the time of the year when people need Thank you cards for workmates or friends who have helped throughout the year.
At Shopping our stash they have a thankful challenge.
I used a small piece of patterned paper and 2 strips of washi including one that has the sentiment on it.

Scrap the boys

The theme at Scrap the boys this month is Superhero.

I didn't think I had anything remotely on the theme but then found this photo of Christopher flexing his muscles. Hopefully it qualifies.

I used the cog idea on my banner plus the 3 larger ones on the page. The yellow background is even all the way around but was cut off at the bottom in the scanner.

Word art Wednesday

I've made a card using scraps from CKC papersI layered vellum over the spotted paper then the black, and 3 different pinks.6 layers in all. I also used a scrap matching the horizontal on the card and hand wrote my sentiment. The finishing touch was some faux stitching.

I'm entering it at Word Art Wednesday where anything goes.

Mystical cybercrop sketch

Mystical Scrapbooking has a cyber crop this weekend.
This is for the sketch challenge,

I've used all Counterfeit kit items including the FWAB flourish. It added that touch of copper that the layout needed.
The original sketch called for 2 photos but I had 3 so I used them.
The journal strips are those cut offs from the bottom of papers.

Here's the sketch

Rochelle Speares challenge

This is the sketch at the Rochelle Spears challenge

I'm using up the last of the yellows and greys from my Counterfeit Kit on this layout.I copied the sketch fairly closely doing hand stitching in the top corner and journaling on the narrow strips.
I wanted to use the ticket from the show somehow so it became my title.(Not the most decorative but at least it is on there)
My photos featured tawny browns and oranges which dictated the tones of the flower.
I used tiny blue/grey Prima flowers to match the ticket.
