Scraproom Colour challenge

The scraproom group has a colour challenge.

The darker grey background paper is from my Counterfeit Kit as are the tags.

The remainder is from my scraps.

Freaky Fast Friday at The Scraproom

At the scraproom group on Facebook they had a FFF challenge.

I had this photo picked out for another challenge but missed the closing date.

The only thing from my Counterfeit kit on this is the speech bubble.

The library craft challenge

Over at the library challenge the theme is 

This solved a problem for me! I have had a tiger on my desk for months just waiting for a scrap challenge or inspiration to hit.

I'm happy that it can finally be used. I originally cut it from an old picture dictionary so it is recycled.

My sentiment means it can be used for a variety of uses.

Paper Issues Take 5 challenge

Here's the take 5 challenge for August.

I started by dribbling red mist on my page. (They are so old that they don't spray anymore.)

From my kit I had aqua border strips and enamel dots(pale pink not white as they look on here).

I added a striped paper across the middle and also a scrap of striped behind the photo.

2018 is my numbers.

Cute layout.

My first layout for August was using a photo someone gave me recently.
It shows my daughter in Kindergarten back in 1992.
I chose the background paper because it reminded me of children drawing the letter o when learning to write.
I layered several small blue tonal papers behind the photo, That used up 3 6x6 papers!
The title and blue velvet ric rac match her uniform as does the larger journaling block.

August Counterfeit kit

Our kit for August is based around https://citrustwistkits.com/collections/current-kit-subscriptions/products/life-crafted-best-of-this-life-kit-july-2019

One of the sets of papers looks like this.

I tried to duplicate that. Here's my papers. The top row is fairly similar.

My second row is other papers to tone with those.

The Bo-bunny one will be cut up to make tags etc.

Next I added my embellishments to match my papers.

I added red thickers as well as the blue glittery ones.

I'm also adding these paperclips(not sure which ones I will use yet.)

Dragonfly dreams

Another Christmas card, this time for Dragonfly dreams where they want things that fly.

I fussy cut around a dove and repurposed it on to this Christmas card wishing Peace and Joy.
