4 crafty chicks and Craft Dee bowz

4 crafty chicks  wants a charm on your project.

I've made an "I love you" card featuring red and a diamente charm.
The card was slightly tilted in the scanner.

and at Craft-Dee Bowz they want a handmade bow.
I had some cream ribbon so hand stitched a double looped bow for this floral card.

Mystical Mood board challenge.

These are the colour palettes for Mystical scrapbooking.
I'm going with the lower right hand side one.

I started with a brown and orange patterned paper then added a vertical strip of dark brown with grey marbled.
Next I added a strip of yellow, followed by red.
A smaller strip of black going horizontally then vertical ribbon ,2 photos and I was done.

I'm also entering this at Use your stuff where it is anything goes with a title/sentiment.

My sketch World

Here's my interpretation of the layout. I have used tiles instead of circles and couldn't resist the flamingo.

I followed Cindy to My sketch world where I found both a layout and a card sketch.
Because my kits are so big this month, I have almost run out of sketches and challenges to enter.

I'm starting with the card sketch.

Vintage layout for Paper Issues

VINTAGE
There was a scraplift challenge on Paper Issues using letters or numbers in the background. This meant I got to use some of the vintage kit I've had.
The background paper is busy, but I'm so glad I could use it.
I also added ribbon, button, cog, cork hearts ,camera and finished off a border strip pack as well.
The father in this photo is my cousin.

fusion card challenge

Tropical

This is the new picture at Fusion.
I've used mainly the sketch, but also used pink and the idea of being outdoors for the card as well.

My card has a beach theme and could be a birthday or travel card.

I've added a die cut ice cream as a final touch.

Here's another card I've made using my Tropical kit.

Tropical sunset layout.

TROPICAL

After searching around, I found this tropical themed layout by Sue Plumb on her blog.
She is on the Cocoa Vanilla DT so I can't expect my scraplift to be as good.

I used the basic arrangement of photo, papers and embellishments as a springboard to my own layout.
I had several "tropical" items that matched with my photo of sunset in Hawaii last year.

In the following close up you will notice that I have layered 2 cards, one said hello sunshine and the other says awesome. As this was sunset, it wasn't hello sunshine, but goodbye.
It certainly was a gorgeous view.
