Mad cyber crop

I'm still completing my mini album for Purplescraps Cyber crop but also participated in another cybercrop at Mad about scrapping.I've completed 2 layouts for it so far.Richmond is from a sketch and sky ball is from a

blind scrapping.I'm happy with how they both turned out

and managed to keep in with the green theme for Mad's cyber crop.

Our local spotlight store is closing down soon, so I went over and stocked up on yummy goodies,including 2 albums to decorate for $2 each.The bargains were too good to resist.

I've also completed another layout for puzzle sketches but I'm struggling with a title for it.

Blog candy,mini book and navy with stars

My chipboard from Puzzle sketches arrived and I can't wait to use it. We had a cybercrop on Purplescraps and I am making a mini book featuring an A_Z of me (words to describe my personality for each letter of the alphabet).

White with one features Navy and stars this month so I made this layout of Erica and her good friend Tom.

Scrapbooking wise it is a busy time,there's lots going on.

More cyber crops challenges

Chelle at Purplescraps held a cyber crop this weekend. The bingo featured Stamping up products with names that made us all hungry like creamy caramel.Nikki our host won so congratulations to her.
The challenges are a layout about what gives you a pick-me-up or where is your happy place.Also an album with a page for each letter of the alphabet about ourselves.We have a month to do that and theres also a sketch. It will be a busy few days here I think.

Scrapware blog candy winner for February was me!

You'll have to go over to puzzlesketches http://www.puzzlesketches.blogspot.com/ to see the prize I won just for posting a comment.It is a collection of chipboard shapes including butterflies,birds,brackets,scrolls and tags. I'm so excited cause I was admiring these and thinking I'll never win anything useful like that and I did.

On another note I made this beautiful blingy layout and sent it to 3 magazines only to be ignored/rejected yet again.I put lots of work into it and colour-matched the bling/flowers to our costumes. I tried to capture the "feel" of the innocent 1960s.

Port Arthur Layout

No luck with Scrapbooking memories/Creating Keepsakes and a loud silence from Scrapbook Creations.I wonder why I bother submitting sometimes.
On a good note, my daughter has anew job in canberra so now I guess there will be moving house etc to organise.At least she is earning some cash at last.

It took ages tearing and placing all those pieces of paper to look like the stone wall but I'm glad with the final layout.I've submitted it to 2 different magazines so now we wait and see.

Stretched sideways

I've just been over to Puzzle sketches blog to see if they'd uploaded my layout(they haven't). While there I checked my pic was in the followers section.It is the same picture as on this blog,the one of me with Erica at her graduation. They way it is loaded there it is stretched sideways.We both look like candidates for biggest loser-I'm still laughing!
