I have chosen the sketch on the right with the green colouring.
I used 2 papers from my Counterfeit kit plus 2 more scraps as well as small embellishments. My journal shape was cut from a larger card.

This morning I've done a scraplift which is inspired by this layout.
I started with 2 papers I put in my kit. One was an A4 size with various flowers and the other is a pastel roses paper from Abi's craft.
After doing that, I began by adding the 3 rectangles from the right, working across. I put a hexagon with flower on the right hand one. The middle was cut from a Bo Bunny sheet in my kit. I matted the photo on green paper, also from my kit. They all slightly overlap.
Now the fun began! I ran ribbon down the join in the 2 papers. I had 2 bags of flowers embellishments in my kit and USED THE LOT ! The paler pink roses are 3D and stand up from the page. The others are flat but I varied the size and colours. I added 3 small hearts and 2 bluebirds.
As a final nod to the original I lightly inked using opera pink and sage versa colours.
Build a layout at the scraproom group gave me a chance to use up some Counterfeit kit items.
We were sitting in a park in Montreal watching squirrels running around and up and down the trees.
I tried something different and cut circles around the pictures then arranged them in a pattern. There is also a normal photo of the park plus my title.
The next challenge at Lasting Memories is designers.
Living in Australia we can't always get complete sets of papers for specific designers, but I do have a favourite brand and range which is Kaisercraft "Chapter One".
If I ever see it on sale, I buy everything!
I've made another card using silhouette shapes from the pack in a previous post. This one is angels and is monochrome. I have a religious friend who is also musical so she will love this.
