I started with a list based on the total kit.

I have a bag of birds and butterflies so will source those there. (cut from old greeting cards)

I added hearts, envelopes, books, spectacles, dreams and camera. The others I need to hunt out.

Anyway, here's my moderate kit.

                                                Colourful carnival

It is quite small as I don't have anything in particular to scrap.

My papers are mainly brand names (unusual for me). I forged one.

my embellishments are as follows

I included the 3 typewriters I have, several washi tapes, a bling swirl and flower I recently won as well as chipboard flowers. Not too much alphas as I have 2 lots of words to use.Also a heap of journal cards that relate.

Allsorts challenge

 At allsorts challenge they wanted something beginning with B.

I chose butterfly. I stamped the butterfly twice then attatched a clear acetate layer on the top. Next I cut 2 small hoses and used ribbon around the butterflies. I used a raised layer to match the background and added my sentiment.

Black Magic

 

Here's the Black Magic challenge for August.

We had to use 2 colours from the palette. I think I have 3. I stuck to the sketch closely using a doiley to mirror the sea foam and found a scrap of paper featuring thongs to match my photo. I had stickers of women in bikinis so used those as my embellishments.

Dolphin spotting.

 My last layout for my kit was "fin in the sun" using my dolphin spotting photos.

I had 3 different photos of the dolphins so I stepped them down and made waves from leftover scraps from my kit in blues and pale aqua. I also added vellum as my foam.

The dolphin pictures came in a brochure for something. I cut around them and glued them on the layout. My title was appropriate I thought.

A feet layout

 On my recent trip north, we walked along the beach.  l took photos of my feet in the sand not knowing how I would use them.

This layout sort of came together as I worked and it became a list of things I like doing at the beach such as feeling toes in the sand etc.

I've used my black Flourish with a bling plus some enamel dots as decoration.I was also happy to use some washi tape as accents on this.

Cardz 4 Galz and Just us girls.

 Today I have made a card for Cardz 4 Galz.

We are asked to use vellum, so I decided to make a mason jar card containing sprinkles for a 21st birthday.

I drew the mason jar then sewed around the pencil line to create my shaker card.

My next card is for Just us girls.

There is a stimulus picture.

This suggests school but I went with the apple idea as I had a die cut set to use.

My sentiment says good on you so it could be used for academic achievements or just success at anything really.

Colour throwdown

 Using some cut off strips from the previous layout I made this card. I distressed the top edge of each strip then layered them on to the card overlapping. They feature the colours in this week's colour throwdown.

Next, I made my tag using cream offcut. I smooshed green mist on it then stamped some butterflies. I added a love heart sticker and wrote the word love.

I also used a border punch on the bottom edge of the card and inked it.
