Sewing at Li'l red wagon

 At li'l red wagon they want sewing on our projects.

I always save those little sewing kits you get at motels etc as they often come in handy for a loose button or whatever.

I've made a card for a friend who is often travelling.

I used 2 of those mini sewing kits plus faux stitching around the edges of the card.

I'm pleased to see that I was featured last week.

Sketch Saturday and The flower challenge

 At Sketch Saturday there is this sketch.

I have some diagonal bright striped paper so decided to make 2 cards. This first one is using the above sketch.

My next card is for the flower challenge. They want spring colours.

I think my striped paper qualifies for that plus I topped it with fussy cut bouquet of flowers.

I added 2 butterflies and washi tape in pink that says LOVE.

Cut it up and Li'l red wagon.

 I've used another one of my altered cars as part of my layering for cut it up . They want anything with a C so in my case C for card.

My neighbour's name is June and her birthday is in June, so I've made her this card. There's 5 layers on this if you count the torn paper.

I'm also entering this at Li'l red wagon where they want birthday cards.

Hearts quest

 I've made this male card for Heart's quest. They want either green or orange heart.

I chose green.

It could be for Father's day or a birthday. 

Craft rocket challenge and alphabet challenge.

 Craft rocket challenge has a layer it up challenge.

This gave me the opportunity to use another altered playing card. I chose 2 manly looking strips in browns. On top of that I added my card. Counting the sentiment there are 5 layers on here.

I think it will be a male birthday or perhaps Father's Day card.

At alphabet challenge they want z for zoom or anything that goes fast.

I chose a pocket featuring an aeroplane and made a male card. The pocket could be used for a gift tag.

Li'l red wagon

 At Li'l red wagon  they want blue cards.

I used an embossed background then added a second embossed piece with ribbon wound around at an angle. I then fussy cut 2 drinks to use as my points of interest. 

Altered playing cards.

 I had about half a packet of playing cards and lots of scrap papers. I decided to use them and create some AST's or altered playing cards.

I'm happy with how they turned out and will use them as embellishments on cards or layouts.

My first one on a card is for The Male Room. The theme is geometric and I had one with squares and lines.
