Girlz creative Christmas.

 This morning while waiting for the washing machine, I made a Christmas card.

The theme at GirlzCreativeChristmas is Christmas baubles.

I had one cut out ready!

I drew my own chain to hang it on and added faux stitching around the bauble to make it stand out more.

Combined challenges

 I used a sketch from Sketch 'n' scrap #209. for this layout .

It is also for soul scrappers where they want one word starting with F. 

I used everything on here from my Counterfeit kit this month. This is my second last page for them.

I love that I could use the feathers both real and paper die cut feathers.

To me Autumn leaves look feathery as they fall from the trees. That is what gave me the idea.

a double hospital layout.

 

Another hospital layout done. I had a pump pad thing on my leg for 9 days to suck out excess fluid (red stuff ). It was a strong sucker! That gave me the idea for the title.

I added some covid scrapbooking items I had saved.

Facebook didn't like these layouts because they are too graphic!! 

Challenge YOUrself plus sketches in Thyme.

 At Challenge YOUrself there is a patriotic mood board.

Because I'm not American I took it as a red, white and blue challenge with stars and stripes.

I managed to find a starfish which became my "token star", No other stars to be found anywhere in my stash. I used various scraps of paper plus some metallic cardboard as my longest strip.

The road signs are putting a humorous spin on my layout. I was leaving hospital after 12 days of recovering from Knee surgery. I used a stop sign but wrote "don't" above the stop.

This is my last layout documenting my hospital stay. I'm glad to get it done.

By the way, I used a sketch from "Sketches in Thyme".

Jumpstart sketch at The scrap room.

 I just did another layout for the scraproom. This is for the Jumpstart sketch.

Here's my take. Everything on here is from my Counterfeit kit.

Notice I used the offcuts of the previous layout. I hadn't got enough letters left to write pre-operation so it became pre med.

Sketch 'n' scrap's first challenge

 

Here's the sketch.

Using 2 papers from my kit, I formed my background. I used an extra chevron type paper as my intermediary.

I used tabs and buttons from Bo Bunny (also in my kit) and the words are from a pack of diecuts I had in my kit also.

Stone layout plus autumn.

 Here's a layout I made today using my kit.

I had about 2/3 of a sheet of stone paper and also a stone tag I made years ago that said Thank You.

During my recovery from knee surgery, one of my good friends took me out for lunch. I was very grateful because I couldn't drive and was on crutches. She went and ordered the food then picked it up for me as well.

I also used 3 wood veneer hearts as well as the Russian doll I used for journalling and a flower

This layout is for The hut challenge where we had to use at least 5 stars. I used a woodgrain paper plus a plaid pattern at an angle.

I used 8 wood veneer stars plus one lonely reindeer that I found in the same jar. They branch and tag added extra interest and title is happy because that walk made me happy to see the autumn colours
