Time out challenges

 This time we are inspired by a collection of seashells. This at Time out challenge

I had a picture of seashells on the shore, so turned it into this card.

It has a neutral pale yellow/cream background then vellum and the matted picture. I used orange washi tape down the left-hand side plus some taupe enamel dots. My sentiment says love. 

Cardz 4 Guyz

 At Cardz 4 guyz they want checks or plaids.

I've actually used 2 different plaid scraps to make this Christmas card.

I think a male of any age would be happy to receive this at Christmas. 

Farmquest sewing

 The challenge at Farmquest is sewing.

I've made a layout about a ride on a horse and wagon when we were in Norfolk Island. It was fun sitting up high and riding around the farms and orchards on the island.

I've machine stitched a couple of circles around the photos and hand stitched the black and white ribbon flower.

Girlz creative Christmas.

 This morning while waiting for the washing machine, I made a Christmas card.

The theme at GirlzCreativeChristmas is Christmas baubles.

I had one cut out ready!

I drew my own chain to hang it on and added faux stitching around the bauble to make it stand out more.

Combined challenges

 I used a sketch from Sketch 'n' scrap #209. for this layout .

It is also for soul scrappers where they want one word starting with F. 

I used everything on here from my Counterfeit kit this month. This is my second last page for them.

I love that I could use the feathers both real and paper die cut feathers.

To me Autumn leaves look feathery as they fall from the trees. That is what gave me the idea.

a double hospital layout.

 

Another hospital layout done. I had a pump pad thing on my leg for 9 days to suck out excess fluid (red stuff ). It was a strong sucker! That gave me the idea for the title.

I added some covid scrapbooking items I had saved.

Facebook didn't like these layouts because they are too graphic!! 

Challenge YOUrself plus sketches in Thyme.

 At Challenge YOUrself there is a patriotic mood board.

Because I'm not American I took it as a red, white and blue challenge with stars and stripes.

I managed to find a starfish which became my "token star", No other stars to be found anywhere in my stash. I used various scraps of paper plus some metallic cardboard as my longest strip.

The road signs are putting a humorous spin on my layout. I was leaving hospital after 12 days of recovering from Knee surgery. I used a stop sign but wrote "don't" above the stop.

This is my last layout documenting my hospital stay. I'm glad to get it done.

By the way, I used a sketch from "Sketches in Thyme".
