Li'l red wagon

Li'l red wagon wants black white and one other colour.

I chose mauve.

I've used a crimson red card but if you ignore that the actual card fulfills the entry.

Time out challenges

At Time out challenges they want a card featuring coffee.

Here's one I made using an AST I had previously done. It features a jar of coffee.

I also used wet coffee to dye or stain the paper on the playing card.

Soul Scrappers poltergeist challenge plus another one to match.

This layout is for another challenge at Soul Scrappers where we had to feature a child, a teddy bear and outlined title.

On here I used an offcut in neutral colour as my mat plus a rather colourful journal card. I had to hand draw then cut out my teddy bear and similarly hand write my title word, "sharks". I added a wire boy top left 2 stars on toothpicks top right and used decorative scissors on my sign.

It is based on sketch #632 at Sketches in Thyme.

This second layout was on the same day same place so I decided to make it a double. I used 3 pieces of 6x6 paper on my grid background. I used the same striped ribbon plus navy washi tape for my vertical strips. There's another tag for more journalling.

My next layout is for a sketch challenge at Soul Scrappers

I had a portrait photo of a dog so here's my layout.

I used some puffy stickers on this plus 2 lots of satin ribbon that I've had for years.

The next challenge at Soul Scrappers is a colour challenge

My mind went to an old church we visited while on holiday

I used 3 layered journal cards on this plus a flair, a brad, a chipboard buckle and a backpack from my kit.

In case you haven't worked it oput the papers were cut and both parts used on these 2 layouts.

Cut it up.

At Cut it up they want a song inspired card.

I had these wild asparagus alphas and wanted to use them up so made this card.

It will work well for general birthday or Father's day card.

October Counterfeit Kit

Another month rolls by and here we are in October! The weather is getting warmer, the spring flowers are out and In USA it's Fall or Autumn to us Aussies.

This kit has a definite Autumnal feel as well as farm/country ideas.

With autumn/haystacks/sunflowers and denim in my mind, I came up with my kit "Hoedown time "

(Did I ever tell you I used to do square dancing? )

Firstly, my papers.

I have 6 sheets of that rose paper top left so put them all in my kit. There's a couple of plaids and some tiny geometrics.

Next my embellishments,

I added ric-rac braid and vintage lace to get the country vibe. There's a couple of journal cards with an autumn theme plus some punched flowers and die cut flowers as well.I added some neutral tags plus twine.
