Here is the sketch for October
Firstly I've flipped it so that the photos are on the left.
I woke early this morning thinking about this layout. I knew I had cow spots ribbon plus the farm items from Kaisercraft. As I'm on a mission to use up embellishments from my stash, I realised this could work.
I've used the large Farm Fresh title on a scrap of co-ordinating paper. Next came the barn then my cow journaling block. If you substitute these for the 2 horizontal papers under the photos it matches the sketch.
Lastly I added the business card from the farm plus another cow embellishment and it is done.
As the theme at Use your stuff is food, it fits in there as well. We visited this farm on a recent trip to Western Australia. The ice cream was delicious.
Hope you find it a mooooving layout!!!

CASology #65
The theme at CASology #65 was CRISP.
I've made 2 cards and hopefully can enter both separately.
*********************************
The first is of a row of mice baking fresh bread (crisp crust)
I used a cut out page from an old children's book. The stain on the 3rd mouse isn't as obvious in real life.It is foxing from ageing.
******************************
My second card could be a Thanksgiving card except we don't celebrate it in Australia.
It features a row of crunchy corn cobs.

Christmas is coming.................Case this sketch
I've been motivated this afternoon to make Christmas cards.
Case this sketch is at the end of this post.
But first,
I've used Kaisercraft "Twig and berry " collection plus some red doileys I bought at TYPO.
Green backgrounds always look traditionally Christmassy
And black backgrounds for my more gothy/sophisticated people.
and on Case this sketch the challenge is this sketch
So here is my lucky last Christmas card.

The Lollipop Ladies and vintage layout
My mother and grandmother always kept jubes for an occasional sweet treat.
I've chosen a paper that looks slightly like jubes because of the fine white spots on it.
I've also added a blue glittery silhouette to resemble sugary jubes.
My layout is blue mainly and features an old photo from Bussleton jetty that I bought as a postcard. The striped background paper reminds me of men's vintage shirts.

The site that I own other than this one is Archiscraps.
This month I've chosen a building in France.
This month I've chosen a building in France.
It has a Halloween look about it don't you think?
The challenge this month is to create a layout with the extra criteria of FACES.
It doesn't have to be a building, just be inspired by this photo in some way.
Upload to Archiscraps by 31st October.

Jewellery stimulus for layout.
Here is my Staffordshire pottery brooch.
I bought this when I went to England in 1976.It was the end of my first year of teaching.I saved all the money for my trip. It was my 'treat to myself" as I was only 21.
It suggests a floral cluster to me in pinks, yellows and some greenery of course. It also makes me think of spring.
I've gone vintage with this layout featuring a photo of my parents in 1947.
I think the connection to my brooch is fairly obvious.
