http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com.au/ wants owls on a card.
http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com.au/ wants spring.
I've combined the 2 challenges on this card.
I've used Kaiser's secret admirer collection. Luckily there is an owl peeping out of the corner cluster.

Alphabet challenge and DD challenge(2nd entry).
I've made a card for Alphabet challenge blog where it is anything with wings.
The card features a tag I made years ago containing a chipboard fairy.
I chose autumnal tones, since we are in autumn here.
The leaves will turn eventually, if it ever stops raining!
The sentiment says "Friends are kisses blown to us by angels"
I'm also entering a second card at DD challenges.

Shopping Our stash & Seize the BIrthday
Over at Shopping Our stash this week they ask for forest animals.
I've chosen the last wood veneer fox I had from Christmas cards but have put it in a forest toned card.
The orange spotty washi tape sets him off nicely, don't you think?

Paper Issues sketch
Paper issues { Friends and Fans} facebook page has a sketch challenge.
I have 3 papers left from my Counterfeit kit, all very similar.
The brick wall stencilled one on the left appears to be a trend at the moment, so I'm starting with that.
I flipped over the Fancy Pants middle one and found black dots on the back.
I used both sides of that.
I've used all the turquoise ribbon now. I used a stapeler to join it on the tag. The beautiful handmade flowers are from Scrappers Garden.
What is left now will be for cards.

Concertina Album
I've made a concertina album using the pinks and blacks in my Counterfeit kit.
As yet, there are no photos but I wanted to show you the scrapbooking part of it.

The next 3 have self rotated despite being upright in my pictures. Sorry!
I tried to rotate them in imaging software but that just made it worse.
Then it decided to do it correctly again...stupid blogger.

March CKC Challenge #2
Challenge #2 is to use wet mediums.
I started with a sheet of white cardstock and wet it gently under the kitchen tap.(Not soaked but damp).
Lining up my mists I sprayed blobs along the top using a rainbow idea.
Yellow, red, blue green. I also misted over the top with a clear/frosted mist.
While it was wet, I turned the card vertically and let it dribble down.
YOU NEED TO WORK FAST.
Dry in the sun or use a heat gun.
The photo was from a market in Darwin and featured different coloured beads.

Cardz4guyz
http://cardz4guyz.blogspot.com.au/ wants numbers.
One of the B sides of my papers was a numbers grid. (How fortunate!)
I used it as my background then added washi tape resembling tyre tracks and a couple of buttons.

Stuck?!
Here's the first Stuck sketch for March.
While I was away last week I spotted trotting horses and gigs on the beach and in the nearby sandhills.
I found an old Print Blocks paper named beach sand .How appropriate!
The bingo card, green spot paper and journal card are from my Counterfeit Kit.
Many of the other embellishments were on my scrap table.
I called it XYZ because it was right at the end of my holiday.

Use your stuff and in the pink
At Use your stuff they want dry or wet embossing and at In the Pink they want (pink) cards for a special lady, so does http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.com.au/.
I've made this card to cover all 3.
and with the scraps, I also made a second card
I've made this card to cover all 3.
This one has been entered at http://crafty-girls-creations.blogspot.com.au/
Scrap the girls
The challenge at Scrap the girls is a Selfie.
Now I have never taken a selfie.
While I was away last week on my own, it came to me that my holiday photos seldom have me in them, so I attempted a selfie (using my camera, not my phone).
This is it.
I used the paper that I forged.
http://julenebydesign.blogspot.com.au/2017/03/forgeries-on-fourth.html
Cameras were on topic for this layout.
Everything else is from my Counterfeit Kit including the 2Crafty chipboard bicycle.
I loved the Heidi Swapp star, it too suited this topic (representing a flash).
Hope you realise that I'm not trying to be glamorous (impossible at age 62), just showing that I took a selfie by myself.

Paper Issues -Take 5 Tuesday
I like doing these challenges at Paper Issues. They make you think outside the square!
I'm also entering at Unstampabelles where they want use a punctuation sign and be amusing.
I'm using my Counterfeit Kit for this as well.
I started with the Heidi Swapp ticket paper (patterned). FIRST
After lightly misting it with blue SECOND I used some vellum as my mat.
It is a soft green in mint tonings. THIRD.
Inspired by Crocodile Dundee maybe,I took some photos of an inflatable croc near the pool last week. Hence my title! OH remember wrestling with a croc= 6 words FOURTH
I had 2 chipboard letters on my desk saying "oh" so I included them on my layout as part of the title
FIFTH.
The sticker saying remember and the quote sticker under, "Oh", I will ignore.
There it is done!

Challenge YOUrself plus Scrappy Friends.
Scrappy Friends link
I chose the second vertical column.
I'm combining the above challenge and this one at Challenge YOUself.
To make it harder on myself I'm using more of that extremely patterned paper.
This time I painted over a section using white acrylic paint.
I condensed my cluster of photo and embellishments into the bottom left corner thus leaving WHITE SPACE on the right hand side.
The 3D flower is from Scrappers Garden.
The die cut flowers are from October afternoon.
The flair is from Cocoa Vanilla.
Hope you like it. That photo defines me: an adventurer setting off to new places.
Li'l red wagon & the male room.
At Little Red Wagon they want plaids and polkadots.
I've made a card for a male
At The Male room they want Steampunk.
I've used a large tag I made featuring a hot air balloon.

Funny layout
This is a photo I've had from Christmas 2015 featuring my sister and I clowning around.
She has such a wicked sense of humour at times.
I bought metal food covers for all the females for Christmas, so we decided to wear them as hats.
I've used 2 Heidi Swapp plastic stickers on this, Scrapmatts Federation corners, a Mad Hatter transparency, an October afternoon cloud sticker as my journaling area plus a variety of alphas and small stickers/words.

Forgeries on the Fourth
This paper took my eye straight away.
I had this set of Heidi Swapp stamps.
Using the camera stamp I have covered a fairly plain patterned paper with camera stamps.
It doesn't matter that they are random or even crooked.
Next I used old square Versa colour inks to randomly colour some of the cameras.(Blue and yellow)
Use a dabbing motion rather than a dragging one.
I didn't have pink ink, so used coloured pencil to draw a frame around some of the cameras.
Mine is more ---messy aka "arty" than the original.
A similar effect could be achieved with water colour paints.
I also saw this idea on Pinterest. It would be good for a card or journaling block.
Also, I fussy cut around some butterflies on scraps of patterned paper and glued them to the Kaisercraft Love notes mini envelopes.

Shopping our stash
At Shopping our stash they have this colour palette
I've used the 2 pinks plus the white on this baby girl card.
I've used the 2 pinks plus the white on this baby girl card.
Another freaking scrappy challenge and Picture this.
Another freaking scrapping challenge says use chipboard and something old from your stash.
Picture this has this stimulus picture
Lots of dots there and on my layout.
The picture took me back to the 1960s,which in turn reminded me of our family home from 1960 to 2013.
I found 3 photos of the final clean up day at Ogilvy Street. The colours were right.
I've used 2 old items:-My original Tattered Angels glimmer mist which is over 10 years old, and 2 October Afternoon papers. I've used chipboard letters for final.(yes I know the N is reversed)
Most of the colours in the palette are there. The Heidi Swapp Dreamy paper used for the background has spots too.
I used gold stars on the layout as a nod to the gold in the picture.
Also these 2 friends deserved gold stars.

First layout for March
In my Counterfeit kit was a very busy "graffiti" style paper. I've had it for years.
I fussy cut some flowers from one of the Bo Bunny papers and layered them in the corner using foam tape.
Next I found some bright lime green paper that co-ordinated and mounted my 2 photos on this.
Using 2 doileys, I softened the business further.
After adding my embellishments, I used 2 different alphas to make my title.
I'm happy with the final product!

Simon Says plus others.
http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/ wants us to be inspired by a book.
I've chosen Alice in Wonderland.
http://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com.au/ wants tea time, so I used a cup and saucer.
https://naughtyornicechallenge.blogspot.com.au/ wants a creature (flamingo)
The card started with a handmade paper. I inked it slightly using opera pink Versa ink.
Next I layered pink patterned paper, pale green card and a transparency featuring Alice and a flamingo.
The felt teacup above the sentiment and the flower I made from dress pattern tissue, complete the shabby chic look.
Hope you like it!

Cardz4guyz is always a fun challenge and they want a tag this week.
I've used mixed media:- clear resin dots, chipboard, metal pieces, stamping, misting and a leather trim.
This morning I washed all my windows. Now it is raining....I should have known better.

March Counterfeit Kit
💚This is the kit we are Counterfeiting in March
Pretty colours and lots of scope for Counterfeit kits.
Introducing my kit, Spring garden
I've started my kit with this set of stamps.
You will notice the camera stamp. I intend to use that.

I've started my kit with this set of stamps.
You will notice the camera stamp. I intend to use that.
Next my papers
The top row is a range from Bo Bunny named ALORA.
This was my starting point for the papers as the patterns matched closely.
The scribbly one on the left features a camera so I put it in.
The other 2 rows are neutrals and pinks that match the original kit.
I've also added some partial pieces that colour match.
Plus some smaller scraps for card making.
Next comes my alphas
The Heidi Swapp ones also have blue and pink in the pack.
My embellishments
There is a scattering of butterflies and flowers.
You will notice a pop of red which I thought would liven up layouts.
Hope you like it, I do!
Now the blog hop. Welcome Raelene
