I originally bought this bracket shaped paper to mat on a piece of 12x12 but decided to use it as it is.This layout kinda grew from the shape. The colours in the photo-aqua and green, sent me hunting for matching scraps and co-ordinating ribbons/flowers.I inked the flower with my old favourite, pinecone ink.The whole thing apart from the backing paper was using things I already had so it was very economical.I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Jetsetting and all things travel
The layout above is for a challenge on A2Z scraplets who make wonderful chipboard shapes.
With our European trip looming on the horizon I've started to get a little organised ( 86 days).I went to the pharmacy today to stock up on medications we may need.I'm also having a hepatitis A injection(gulp) on Wednesday. I'm starting to get a little excited now and have been reading up on the various countries we will be visiting. When I think of all the photos I will be taking and how much scrapbooking potential there is, I am overwhelmed.

I've done it again after vowing not to.
I have sent an entry in to be selected(possibly) for a design team. After the deflating experience on Scrapboxx where I made it through 3 rounds and was eliminated in the 4th I vowed I wouldn't try again.
Anyway, Mad about Scrapping are looking for someone, so Ive just sent in my entry.I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Because it is so hot I have been scrapping today. Here's my latest...I love Sassafrass Lass papers!

Off the page stuff
The Moulin Rouge canvas was made for my BAZ Lurman addicted daughter! The cigar box features old photos from my family and the altered Cd case contains an accordian album of childhood photos of my mother. The paint can was a secret santa gift for a friend on Scrapboxx.I filled it with lollies. The altered recipe tin was done at a retreat I attened about 4 years ago. It is a work in progress.

Another festive season over
That Christmas came and went with such speed that I can hardly remember it. Luckily I took photos.
I'm back into my routine now that Erica has returned to the country and I can get back to scrapbooking.I've just done this layout for white with one. They asked for turquoise with flourishes so I used the Kaisercraft bubbles and hand drew the flourish first. It features Christopher looking somewhat coy.
I'm on the countdown now until I go away.
