I'm using up the scraps from my kit now. I had some of the fisherman paper left over so I'm making 2 cards.
Here's the first one for Crafty Animals
My second one is using scraps I had on my desk

Here's the first one for Crafty Animals
I've had this carta bella Bloom paper in my kit and kept avoiding it. Then I saw the new sketch at Sketches in Thyme.
I used 6 journal cords on here, including the circle , they became my banners. My title and hearts are from American crafts Thickers let's Dance.
This layout is based on a Sketches in Thyme sketch.
Today I made this layout using my "secret men's business " kit.
The Mexican man in my photos was wearing a hat and moustache, so I was able to echo that in the picture of the English gentleman. The striped offcut reminded me of Mexico and I found the word handsome which works well as a title.
I also used washi tape in black and white chevron and stitched a herringbone pattern across the middle to match the decoration on his hat.
Here is the sketch and colour palette.
I used the thickers title and hearts from my kit. Also the little shapes from lilybee designs were in my kit.
The dark green background paper and blue are old pieces I've had for a long time. I'm pleased to use them.
I cut up an old children's annual and this was one of the pictures. It features 2 children collecting wood in a toboggan. As the theme at Farmquest is snow sports I thought this might qualify.
Into the Christmas card box it goes.
I also made this card for Time out challenge
Our forst challenge is 10 things I love about.....................
It immediately reminds me of my daughter watching the movie "things I hate about you.". We must have watched it 50 times.
For this challenge I chose one of the countries we visited on my cruise. Costa Rica, it was magical.
I used a sticker I bought there as my starting point. The 3 circular journal cards came in handy on this.
My title went on next and I used mixed alphas. I chose my 3 photos and trimmed them to fit. I then added some puffy sticker thickers here and there. My final flourish was a branding strip along the bottom of the page.
I started with brown and white spotted card for my background. I then triple matted my photo. I found a piece of music paper which already had red drips on it so used it as a layer under my photo mat.
Next, I made the banner using die cuts from my kit plus embroidery cotton.I used white brads to fasten the pieces on. I found 4 green buttons so added those next to my happy title. I also added 2 other word stickers "sweetest day" and "hello love".
This parrot and gorilla greeted us as we disembarked the ship in Costa Rica.
This is the Throwback sketch at The scraproom.
The other beige coloured paper was a 6X6 paper I put in my kit. I bought 2 Costa Rica stickers while I was there so used one on here instead of a second photo. There are also 2 puffy stocker bows as embellishments.
The sloths were gorgeous and fun to watch
Yesterday I made 2 more layouts. The first was using a sketch I found on pinterest.
This used up many of my branding strips plus buttons and flowers I put in my kit.
I've chosen "if nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies"
I used lots of washi tape on this layout plus 2 different sized punched butterflies.
I used some more of my Counterfeit kit to make this layout this orning.
Soul scrappers asked us to use brown cardstock, a clock and numbers.
I decided to use 3 photos of the food court on board ship. It tended to be where people congregate.
The clock has been wiped with a teabag to age it so no longer white .I also used pineapples and some enamel dots from my counterfeit kit plus the Basic Grey bow ties paper.
This is not for a challenge, so I decided to free compose it. 2 photos side by side tell the story.
I triple matted the photos then added a strip of green washi across mat. Next, I added my raised flowers and added asterisk that matched my alphas. I popped a flamingo on the bottom, next to the journalling.
For this layout I used the green side (that).
I started by painting with yellow paint through a plastic doily. I then added the white doiley with lavender inked edges. I also inked the 2 vertical sides of the layout.
After matting my photos I added those plus some scribbled sticker and my title. Lastly I added rhinestones in 2 different colours.
I have chosen to focus on the top two, as I don't have any winter snow papers and the other one on the bottom is too "arty" for me.
Here's my kits
Secret men's business
here's my papers.
The top row is male papers, but with a different twist to the original. There's a few Basic Grey Bow Ties
and a Simple stories Heart (plaid) plus a black Carta Bella paper.
The bottom row started fitting the peachy kit , then I branched into the greens and browns. I even added a few 6x6 papers there. This goes well with my holiday photos.
