I've used several embellishments alluding to Alice in wonderland.
I used a paper I bought at Lincraft called European windows and went from there. I used Graphics 45 papers, scrapmatts chipboard, hero arts flowers and my cuttlebug to emboss the bronze paper. The lettering is October Afternoon and the journalling frame is from kaisercraft.
We saw this house whilst cruising along the Seine.
My scanner is refusing to co-operate' so I photographed this layout. It is part 3 of Things my mother taught me,called Genetics. And the tag line is "You're just like your father!". In this case it is true.Christopher looks like and behaves like Nathan did.
I used Graphic45 Coney Island paper plus scrapmatts nested hearts which I inked in a colour called "Old paper"
I've wriiten the following"Sometimes I look at you,my adult daughter, and remember the tiny baby you once were.It seems so long ago.Sometimes I wish those times would come back but I know they can't.Always I am so proud of the woman you have become".
I think the vine is Twiddlybits.I hand drew the leaves on the chips.
I used my new cuttlebug to do 2 of the background papers. The spotted one is scenic route.Melody's dress was pinky orange and I happened to find this lace scrap at Vinnies which matches exactly.
When it came to stitching the layout on my scanner,George's face was blurry despite me trying several times. They are a good looking family.
