Offshore collection

This layout is using the "offshore" collection by Kaisercraft.I cut a strip from the trimmings page to use instead of ribbon across under the tag and included a shaker box with tiny blue beads under the photo of Erica with the fish. The rubons fitted perfectly above the main photo and under the tag.It is a great collection to work with.

A shopping spree and a win!

My local scrapping store is closing. That makes the 3rd one to go. I've been searching for Pina colada papers and finally found them at another store about 30 mins drive away. Now to do the Kaisercraft summer scrapping challenge. After that I went to spotlight where I found a scrapping Tote reduced from $40 to $10.So...a birthday present to myself.
The Black Magic blog had a layout challenge using a palette of colours and featuring embossing.I entered a redone layout of old polaroids and won $10.Yipee! Off to spend my voucher. Alphas I think.

Here's my first entry for the Kaisercraft summer competition. It is a shaker box containing fish and blue flowers, both co-ordinate with the range perfectly.I've double layered the plants around the circle to give more depth plus used rub-ons on the transparency and the backing paper, again for more depth.I called it pina colada please because that is exactly what I used to drink at the poolside bar at Le Lagon. It is a co-incidence that is the name of the Kaiser range. The word Summer appears on the tag off to the side.

Enchanted Scrapping

I participated in a cybercrop over the weekend at Enchanted Scrapbooking.I managed to complete 4 layouts in 2 days and am happy with how they all turned out.The girls on there are nice and friendly too.
I've used up a "little yellow bicycle " kit that I won on Scrapboxx.
I've put up a cardtable to scrap on in the spare bedroom so now I have a scraproom, kinda.
I'm still checking out 2 peas and Daily scrapbooking news for challenges.

A day of scrapping

I've managed to complete 3 layouts today. Two are for puzzle scraps and another contest, but here's one I did using "little yellow bicycle" items that I won in February. They are great colours for my Paris photos. The surrounds of the Eiffel Tower are a transparency. The pattern on the background paper was too ideal to totally cover.

A contest for August

I've just been looking at a new contest on the kaisercraft scrap site. You have to do a layout about summer using the Kaisercraft Pina colada range or their offshore range.I'm off to buy some as I feel I may havea great photo to do.
Otherwise I'm busy converting the now empty 2nd bedroom to my scraproom.

Cards from Venice photos

I went overboard in Venice taking photos so I decided to use the one's I don't want to make cards. Here they are.

Two have been sent out so far and both recieved comments from their new owners. They came in handy for a birthday and a thank you.Maybe I will make some more.

Otherwise I have done 3 pages for Mad about scrapping challenge including one I'm quite proud of.
