Scrap our stash

Scrap our stash Challenge

Create a layout and include the following:
Something Old: Patterned Paper or Embellishment that has been in your stash 6 months or more
Something New: Patterned Paper or Embellishment that you purchased within the last 6 months
Something Fussy Cut
AND...
Something Blue: Patterned Paper, Cardstock, Embellishment, Alphas, Ink/Paint, your choice!

*Make sure you note in your write up, what items you used for each part of the challenge.
***************************

This challenge meant a different approach to my Counterfeit Kit items.(I like that)

First the old:

I've had this sheet of patterned paper saying baseball for probably 10 years.I thought I'd never use it but I've managed to disguise it with a torn strip down the side.
The new:
A packet of vellum featuring circles in gold .I bought it very recently.
The fussy cut is the hibiscus flowers on the top right of the layout and the blue is the lettering and the papers.
*******************
The story behind this is a school reunion is coming up and people are putting up old photos on the site.
Someone was talking about our P.E. teacher in this photo and I suddenly spotted me in the background! We didn't own a camera in those days so it is a rare photo of me aged 14.
It was the late 1960s hence the flowers on the page.

I love that you've finally managed to use that piece of paper - that's the fab thing about the CKCB kits you get to use papers that you don't think you'll ever use!

Clever take on the prompt and doesn't it feel good to use that paper that's been sitting there for SO long. Well done on getting creative with that
