At Aud sentiments they want a shaped card with washi tape.
At Use your stuff they want a vintage card.
I had a scrap of Graphic 45 paper so used it as the background and feature on this card. I fussy cut out the lady then adhered her over the top. The tape measure strip was from another scrap I had. My sentiment covers many occasions, I think.

My second card is for a couple of challenges. Firstly, for Try it on Tuesday where the theme is let's go outdoors.
I made the tag a little while ago but finished it off with the ribbon before putting on the card. It will be a good Bon Voyage card or for a surfing boy.
Paperminutes wants seashells so I can enter it there as well.

And here's a card I made just for fun.
I used a mini kit I was given, including ribbons etc. The 2 photos were on Facebook and I copied them because I like architecture. They've been hanging around, so I decided to do a layout. everything seemed to match on here.
I've made this card while my washing is being done. (Multi tasking!)
The theme at Li'l red wagon is bicycles. I used a die cut chipboard piece from Prima St Tropez range on a neutral grey background. The row of rainbow flowers adds some "zing" to the card, I think.
There's a beach challenge at Cardz 4 guyz
I've used fancy pants paper to make this colourful card.
At a recent crop day, I was given a set of papers and matching ribbons etc. I've used one sheet to make these 5 cards. I had the misted canvas shapes and wanted to finish them up.
5 more for the selling boxes.
I'm spending the remainder of this month making cards and using up little bits and peces.
My first card is for The library challenge. The picture we are using is this.
This layout is for Freaky Fast Formula at The Scrap room.
I've used blues and purples on this layout. I added the frill in purple because I'm trying to use up more ribbons. My 2 photos are of my friend on the jetty at Forster. I've also used a few enamel dots on here.
The bicycle, ice cream and hearts are fussy cut as per Challenge #1 at CKC.
As the 2 toppings hang over the sides, I laid them on spotted paper for my photo.

For my next page I'm combining 2 challenges. The sketches is from Sketches in Thyme (July) and the other moon board is Soul Scrappers plus White with one.
In my kit was a piece of yellow checked paper from Cocoa Vanilla Happy Days Range. Feel Good
I've chosen 2 phtos from Salamaca Place in Hobart. I visited there several years ago with my daughter.
It is the colonial area of Hobart.
Another quick card before lunch.
This one is for Shopping our stash where they want destination cards. I chose Paris.
I used lots of neutrals on here including a flair button featuring the Eiffel tower plus stamps and sticker. It is almost a collage of Paris ideas.

At Cupcake inspiration they had this picture.
This morning I made a layout for Soul Scrappers.
I used an old Kaisercraft paper that I bought on sale somewhere.
The stripes are purples mainly but as there is maroon as one of the colours, I used this photo.
The pink paper is a scrap from the Story book range and the tab and thin label are in my kit.
I used some of the butterfly paper as one of my mats then fussy cut 3 butterflies and mounted them with dots so the wings are raised. I also fussy cut the title "fabulous".
My tag was sent to me as part of a prize and as embroidered hearts or triangles in purple down the side. I used a scrap of ribbon from my kit as my tag tie. The wood veneer flowers, also from my kit completed the layout.

I've made this card for Cardz 4 Guyz where they asked for music as their theme.
I made this for my Great nephew's birthday.
The Fancy Pants paper was so busy that I used the tag to break up the pattern.
I drew the musical notes coming from the saxaphone. There is no sentiment as I will be handing it to him on his birthday so will add my wishes verbally.

Also, at The Male Room they want dots or stripes.
I used stripe paper on here plus coordinating plain paper to create my background. The number sentiment is raised so it stands out.
I went across the bottom row
2 plus photos (I have 3), stamp (butterflies) and patterned paper.
I used quite a few things from my kit on here, including the background paper. The banner hearts are part of a sheet of them I had. The big journal card with quote was also in my kit. The smaller words are a combination. My title "fun Days" is from the happy days set of alphas I put in my kit.
My next effort is for the Throwback sketch at the Scraproom.
I placed my 2 photos on an angle as there was lots of blank space. I've used washi tape for my trims both vertical and horizontally. I used a fussy cut camera instead of a tab top right and my title is lower than in the sketch.
Smaller embellishments are the triangle enamel dots plus the buttons.
The challenge this time is
We attended a wedding of a friend back in 1983, which was around the time of our first anniversary.
I had bought the matching pink jersey dress and jacket which I teamed with pewter coloured belt, shoes and bag. I was very "swish" I thought.
I've used a variety of papers including some from Kaisercraft. I added 2 pieces of chipboard swirls, that I painted red. There are also neutral papers including the note paper that says "You had me at Hello" (an expression from a movie around that time).

This morning I have a doctor's appointment. So, to fill in the time before I go, I made a card.
In my Counterfeit Kit I put a large floral tag that I'm finding hard to use. Today I had an inspiration to use it as background on a card. It had a space at the bottom where you can add a sentiment, so I put "Thanks" in there.
I added another butterfly stamped tag that I dipped in walnut ink, so the brown goes with the autumn colours in the background.
Simple but effective I think.
I'm entering it at Creative inspiration challenge.

I'm using items from my Counterfeit kit to document a not so happy occurrence.
Back in May I fell over in the laundry and had to ring for an Ambulance to get up.
As I only had 2 photos, I've used a quote plus a journal tag to fill up the page. My title is on a paint chip which I decorated with thin washi tape and buttons. Down the green paper I used a strip of ribbon. It is actually a teal colour with purple tiny checks so matches the layout colour scheme.
On the left-hand side, I used sticker spectacles and phone as my picture.
I've also made another layout using this kit
Both are using more purple shades of papers.
At Daring cardmakers they have asked us to choose 3 things from this picture and use them on a card.
I started with a brown background as is in the picture.
Next, I found 3 pieces of monopoly money so added those.
There is also a phone, so I added 2 phone stickers in opposite corners.
I guess this can be used in a variety of situations.

My kit is an eclectic mix of Cocoa Vanilla Happy Days, plus purple/mauve papers I had, and a few random papers I think are similar to these in the kit.
Butterflies (bottom right) aren't coloured, but that's ok. I may use some of those to cut out.
My embellishments are "light on". I've done that on purpose so I can diversify with other things as need arises. I put purple things in to match those papers plus remaining storyteller words and mini stickers as well as the cocoa vanilla words. I will coordinate other alphas as necessary.
No flowers you will notice, I have fabric and paper flowers to add if I want.
