Scraproom throwback sketch

 

Here's the throwback sketch at the Scraproom group. (Last layout for them this month)

I've used a large spotted background paper from my kit that I have owned for several years. It is Paper Inklings. Keeping with the green/brown theme I've made a layout about Waratahs that I saw earlier this year.

I cut a large flower in half to use under the corners of the photos.I then stitched my circles using embroidery thread that must be 50 years old. I added a butterfly, bottom right.

My title relates to the waratahs which don't bloom every year, in fact this is the best display in about 7 years.
