The big flower dilemma

I fussy cut these big flowers from patterned paper a few years ago.
I put them into my Counterfeit Kit to make myself use them.
I chose the scarlet coloured cardstock, because it provides contrast. So this is how I started.

Searching through my Canada photos, I found one of the shops in Whistler featuring a red roof and a garden of flowers...perfect! I actually took the photo to include the silver garbage that looked like a dalek from Dr Who.
I matted on yellow then added my embellishments including the fox in the centre of the big flower. Flair button is from D-Lish.

Good way to use those flowers :) The solid color cardstock gives it a nice backdrop too

Those flowers really did match up well with the photo. Love that shiny dalek trashbin!

I do believe I have that same paper. Those flowers look great cut out. Off to get my scissors! Nice job, Julene!
