Jingle belles and Sketch n scrap

At Jingle Belles the challenge is to use gold on a Christmas Card.

I confess, I didn't have much gold.

I went through my scraps bag and came up with this. I did paper piecing using ALL my gold.

Every edge is straight, the scanner made the glitter one under the sentiment curve...it doesn't.

I was pleased to also use the gold metal flower that I've had in my stash for years.

Next is the sketch at Sketch 'n'scrap.

And my interpretation using more photos from my trip. This time is the cruise ship in Alaska.

My photos of the ship were too large to trim down.
I've used a border strip that had a scalloped edge to resemble waves and some embellishments I bought in Alaska.
