The challenge at Simon Says stamp is to use the letter j to inspire you.
Since I have just returned from Canada , I immediately thought of Journey. But as this layout developed, I have realised there is another J = Japanese.
The photo was taken in Butchart Gardens near Victoria, Canada.
When you are on a bus tour with 39 people you rarely get any time alone.
The gardens has 55 acres of beautiful gardens.
I wandered off from my friend into the Japanese garden and spotted this pond with stepping stones.
Being a scrapbooker, I immediately thought it would make a great photo.
It was so serene there.
My layout does have stamping on it.
I used that quote as it describes the scene.
Another 2 quotes I used are
Every step of the journey is the journey.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.
I have punched maple leaves(for Canada) to go with the red title and used a monogram J.
That butterfly in the above photo is years old. I kept it knowing it would come in handy.
The brads and buttons are added for effect.
