August Tutorial for Counterfeit Kits

One of the papers in the original kit was the orange one with large letters and squiggles on it shown here
I chose a plain orange paper from Kaiser Class of 87 collection.

After searching back through alphas I found some leftover Letraset letters FROM 30 YEARS AGO!!!!
I adhered them in rows using my trusty rolly-ruler.
I wasn't able to cover the whole page but managed around 2/3 of it.
Next I used the rolly-ruler again to draw curly-cues along the rows.
It isn't exactly the same but close enough and will make an interesting background.

Perhaps you have old white alphas that you can do this with too.

                                           ************************

And I have now used this paper for a layout.
I had 3 photos of Hells Gate in British Columbia, Canada.

August 2014 challenge

I've chosen the third horizontal row.

My animals are the squirrels, my FWAB are white pearls, the Autumn frame helped to highlight the cable car and buttons are there too.

Great use of 30 year old letters :)

30 years! You win, hands down, for oldest stash item of the month. That bold design would be a challenge for me to incorporate into a layout, but you have rocked with ease.
