From Screen 2 Scrap and a scary gate.

I used to be on the D.T. for From Screen 2 Scrap and enjoyed my time there very much.
This month the film is
Our requirements are a brick wall, green card and a black tie.
I've managed to achieve all 3!!!!

My layout was lots of fun.
First, I cut the bricks from Imaginisce "Apple Cider" collection and glued them in place.I used gesso as mortar between the bricks. It is lumpy (textural) in parts- like real mortar.
Next I placed the 2 photos as they actually were at the castle with the name over the gate.I looked at those spikes which gave me the idea of someone saying 'help". The speech bubble is from "October afternoon".
I had the Francheville plaid dress with BLACK TIE belt. I doodled the person around the dress.
Finally, I added my 2 brick journaling frames.
I hope you like it as I had some enjoyment doing it.(Isn't that what scrapping is all about?)
