stuck? colour inspiration sketch

Here is the colour inspiration sketch for Stuck?! for August 15th.
The colours we must use are red, blue and green with neutral.
I've chosen Kaiser Childs play collection "Simon Says" paper. This is basically red & white.
I misted drops in turquoise and I added lime green card.
Over that I've mounted 2 longer photos with some blue toothpick flags, large fabric covered buttons and a neutral tag .On the left of the photos is my journaling on an Elle's studio note tag.
The title is using white vinyl thickers,  so I outlined in black to emphasise them more. I finished with some black doodled dots.

Mortal sin at Scrapfriends

Here is August's sketch for Scrapfriends.
My daughter is partial to chocolate desserts and this one "Mortal sin" is a favourite.
I've chosen red cardstock as my background then used several Counterfeit Kit items on this page.
The white doiley and red fudge wrapper were ideal.
The spotted buttons, red & white paperclip and twine also are added.I made the cardstock polaroid frame and have used an E button in chocolate colour at the bottom of my layout as my dd's name starts with e.

It took a while to make but I enjoyed the process.

Mojo photos

On the way to Camp Mojo I met up with Jane Howden who is on my DT over at Archiscraps.
Then, on to Camp in the beautiful Hunter Valley of NSW.

Just for fun at Camp Mojo

One of our challenges at Camp Mojo was to use red.
I painted then crackled a hot air balloon from MEMORY MAZE .I've used some Counterfeit kit items on this page too including the backing for the balloon and the red rhinestones.
The photo was of a man in Paris fixing a gas light but I've made it look like he is climbing into the balloon.
I've parked a Penny Farthing rub-on beside the photo to create the scene.Add a couple of arrows,one pointing to France and it is done.

A2Z scraplets August sketch challenge

I'm still on Camp Mojo layouts for those playing along at home.
I know there's heaps of people looking, so the occasional comment would be nice.

This month the sketch at a2z scraplets looks like this.

and here is my interpretation of it.

I chose citrus colours for this one based on the fabric paper I've used on the right.

Instead of 3 photos I've used 2 and a tag over another tag in place of the 3rd.

The underneath striped tag is velvety so this is a tactile layout as well.

The dress form is A2Z scraplets. I painted it lime green, then adhered a flower and the lace.

Once upon a sketch

Here's the layout and the theme is "I'll never forget".
My layout features a SWAROVSKI crystal chandelier that we saw in London.
I think it was the V&A museum. It was used for a fashion parade in 2007 during Fashion week.
It was spectacular to say the least.
I can't afford to cover my page in crystals, so I've used Pink Paislee Luxe collection in gold.
The background paper is one featuring gold Chinese coins but it works!
There are clusters of gold bling glued over the layout randomly as well.

Life paper scrapbook

Here is my entry for Life Paper scrapbook for this month.
The original sketch looks like this

I've used October Afternoon embellishments from the "Travel Girl" collection.
There is a small misted design behind the circle, done in red. I also had a torn out pocket from a notebook which provided the red strip next to the misting.
Love those glittery blue letters, but ran out of S's so used an & cut down.
