March Counterfeit Kit

Here is the March Kit that we asked to Counterfeit

and my interpretation of it.

First the papers

with a video for a closer look
And now for my embellishments:

I will probably add more as I go along, especially alphas.

Now the order of the blog hop.
Welcome to our Guest Designer Janine.

MY TIP FOR THE MONTH: know your stash and organise it so you can find things easily. I have places where I keep each type of item. My papers are organised by colours.

I love those balloon papers!! I bet they will be lots of fun to work with this month! I really love the blues in your kit and your wonderful variety of embellishments. Looking forward to seeing your creations!

Julene getting all technological with the video! Good for you. I spy some really interesting papers there that match the original regarding the colours and designs that I'm sure you will have a lot of fun and inspiration to create. Your kit seems a little smaller than usual - am I right? Here's to a creative March

Another mega kit - compared to mine at least! Happy scrapping!

You always do such a great job pulling together really large kits and then scrapping through them. This is no exception - I'm loving lots of things you've included - like those typewriters.

Your paper selection gives me a warm, cozy feel. Such a great selection of embellies. I say AMEN! to your tip. Much of my stash is in boxes still, from moving last spring. It will be Christmas for me when I get to organize them back into my scrap room.

You are right, stash organization is key for putting a kit together! Lovely soft colors for the start of spring!

Smart tip! yep I organize by color too, I keep my paper pads intact though and that can be troublesome. Love you kit and I can see where the need for alphas can be to add. You got some interesting paper in that kit :)

Looks great! Loved seeing a video of the papers - good way to get a look - but was disappointed not to hear your voice :)

Agree with Leslie...I thought we would have heard you! Maybe next time? Please! An interesting collection of vintage-y looking papers and embellies. Loving those typewriters and the paper with the hot air balloons is a great sub for the one in the inspiration. Have fun creating.

Some really pretty papers and embellishments. I am still busy pulling papers and embellishments. I think I have gone way overboard.

Ah you managed to capture the main cake photo - it isn't on their blog any more but I realised there was more to the original kit!
