This month she is the guest DT member at 4 Crafty Chicks.
The current challenge at 4 Craft chicks is to use banners or flags.
I certainly put one of those on this layout and I've used doileys plus die cut tags.
This was my sisters 20th Birthday in 1972.
I've used many chevron items here.
The Amy Tan papers (2),plus a chevron red and white bag which holds the journaling block.
I've also added a tiffany lamp (Scrapmatts) tag which I made a few months ago.
I've topped it all off with some white lace stickers, flair buttons from Shopevalicious.com and 3 red star brads.

Cute page. Even thought you used so many chevron patterns, it all goes well together - not too busy.
Milissa's right, the solid color doilies work well with the chevrons. I love, love, love that tag at the bottom right too.
Super cute layout, I'm liking the bold back grounds with the soft foregrounds they look great together
