Colour throwdown #CTD 238  had the palette of yellow,white,blue and black.




 I've decided to make a wedding card. This embossed stamp image I've had for years. It was an assignment for Craft at Teachers college, where we had to make wedding invitations.
For some reason, I kept it and now am able to use it. I mounted it on white card then backed it with a paper doiley. I've added rhinestones around the circle. There are strips of a paler blue at top and bottom to match the sentiment.The sentiment saying Lifetime is apt since one hopes weddings are forever.

Sieze the birthday Masculine card

Here is the sketch for this week's masculine card.
I've used Autumn colours for this one from Kaisercraft, Imaginisce, and AMM.
My father used to love these colours and I thought of him while I was making it. I've kept the sentiment simple.

Case this sketch

I was lying in bed in preparation for sleep, when I suddenly realised I was going to do "Case this sketch"'s card tonight.

So at 10 minutes past midnight here it is!!!

I've used Kaisercraft's Child's Play-Simon says paper 

 a strip of Kaisercraft's Sweet Nothings.

On that I have placed a Memory Maze stackum, plus sentiment saying "only your best friend could send you this card"

Hope you like it. I see I've qualified by 1 hour and 39 minutes.

CSI meets Counterfeit Kit.

I did this layout for CSI(Colour stories Inspiration) but wanted to put it on my blog as well.
I've used more goodies from my counterfeit kit for this.

Also the robots & stars come from the leftover papers from my last layout using Kaisercraft Konstruct.

That's what I call "triple dipping". LOL

Life paper scrapbook challenge

I found this sketch challenge site and have used Kaisercraft "Konstruct" papers,alphas and stickers  to make my layout. Because of the subject, I also dipped into my Finnabair left-over metallic elements (Prima sunrise sunset) and couldn't resist a couple of clumps on my page.

The sketch has been rotated 90 degrees to the right with the title across the top.

It is rainy and grey here this morning so good weather for crafting but bad weather for photos.

Ruby's Rainbow card challenge.

I've discovered a new fortnightly challenge card blog named Ruby's rainbow. The topic this fortnight is Birthdays.
I've made this birthday card for a dear friend I used to work with. We used to treat ourselves occasionally with a cupcake for morning tea, so I've used one on the card.

I've used a Prima banner as well as "All my memories" papers with some red misting in the background. Miss Annabelle is growing up fast and developing some strength of character but with 2 big brothers I can understand perfectly.
