Paper funday challenge.

 This is for Paper Funday challenge.

They want 4 legged animals so I went with my favourite, giraffes.

I used a scrap of hessian I had plus a black and fawn patterned paper scrap. The giraffe and button are chipboard.

Here's the first sketch for the month at Sketch 'n' scrap.

I turned it sideways as my 3 photos are landscape.

Everything on here is from my Counterfeit kit.

Yesterday I also made a double layout for The scraproom group.

And here's the double. Despite the ribbons matching up perfectly in reality, they scanned wrongly.

The scraproom letters in a word challenge

 Here's another layout I made for The Scraproom.

We had to use letters in the word,summer.

S=stripes U=under (photos under other things M=measure (washi tape measure under the title M=magic E= enamel stars R= ric rac at the bottom (cut off in the scanner)

Love those pretty papers challenge.

 Love those pretty papers is another card site I have found.

I've made this card using an offcut from my kit, of striped paper. The smaller card is made from another patterned paper, then I cut and added the 3 red triangles. I added blue ribbon across the bottom plus my sentiment. 

The hut creative

 

My next layout was for The Hut creative and is a sketch challenge. 

Last year in late January I stepped into a hole and tore 2 tendons in my foot. It took some healing and lots of physio. I wanted to document that using these 2 photos. 

I had a sheet of clock paper so I fussy cut out the clocks. I also added some yellow paint through a stencil to create the arrows. AS well as alphas I used my dymo machine to make "remember"

Freaky fast formula and colour challenge at Soul Scrappers.

 My first layout was a colour challenge at Soul Scrappers plus Freaky fast formula at the scrap room.

I've used 2 types of ribbon on here plus 2 stickers with words. The title was made from left over alphas I had. I hand cut the small circles as I have no punch.

Presenting my kit: THE LONG PADDOCK

In Australia a field is called a paddock. As the papers are lengthy, I came up with the long paddock. 

                                                               PAPERS

For my kit I tried to match the papers by pattern and colour as closely as I could.

They are similar but not the same. 

Mine has wandered into the green shades more. (Funny that as it is my favourite colour!)

I had hardly anything farm related, so went off on a tangent of my own.

EMBELLISHMENTS

I chose retro items that might have a farm house feel.

I found gingham ribbon, ricrac, birds and birdhouses, a bicycle and an airmail envelope.

I also found some 6x6 papers featuring berries.

The washi tapes are red and blue mainly.

Those 2 colours are my main focus in this kit.
