Kraft it up has asked for one of 2 colour combinations.
I've opted for the first: aqua, kraft, white and silver.
I've gone very mixed media with this as it suits the photo.(taken at a local shopping centre)
Using a Tim Holtz Idea-ology page featuring old script I machine stitched edges & misted with aqua.
This brought out the texture on the paper.
Next I've used gesso through an old plastic doiley. Looks a bit like snow.
I inked a new A2z scraplets chipboard in silver and mounted it on aqua coloured paper so it will stand out.
A need for metallic elements next so I dug out my Finnabair leftover silver bits and used 4 of them on the layout.
The 2 larger ones are filigree and hark back to the tree with lights in the photo.(top rh is straight now)
The 2 smaller ones adorn the journaling block....to be written on later.
a scalloped edging fitted perfectly over a snowflake circle.
And there you have it!
