Kraft it up with Graphic 45

Here's a layout using Graphic45 papers called "on the boardwalk" and featuring the quote "There is no greater gift than today".

The photo is of my mother and 2 friends hiding behind a beach towel which mUm says was quite risque for the times. They had their costumes on ,mind you!

I gathered some scrap lace fabric using my sewing machine then placed both hand made and bought flowers.I love how this turned out.It is for Kraft it up.

Two posts in one day

The lollipop ladies blog has asked for candy necklace colours this fortnight so here's my take on it.The gorgeous flowers are from scrapbook'n'craft and are $6 for a packet of about 8. I love them!
This garden seat was a display at Floriade. It looks so inviting.

Several of the sites that I regularly visit have been blocked by blogger for some unknown reason to me. I've run my Norton anti virus software. Anyway I made this layout for scrap the poetry, which I can't get into. The theme was to have birds or flowers looking like they're marching. When at floriade I thought these tulips looked straight and tall like soldiers marching so I've scrapped them for this challenge.I hand cut the swirls around the photo.

Orchid canvas at Our Vintage affair

I used scrapmatts Swirly branch and butterflies on this canvas. They were inked gold then I sewed white & pearl beads around the swirls before adding flowers. There are 3 butterflies on the canvas as well.
My father grew orchids so they remind me of him.

Art deco inspired layout

I drew this art deco inspired layout using coloured pencils.I was inspired by an Agatha Christie DVD I own where the train and buildings appear very briefly. It reminded me I had this photo of me in front of the Eurostar plus the tickets from our European trip.I placed them under the sketch. The diagonal lines work,I think.
