Feeling Sketchy #82

Here is sketch #82 at Feeling Sketchy

I've used more elements from my Counterfeit Kit to create this card:- ribbon, washi tapes, canvas stickers plus sticker dots from Graphic 45.

Cas(e) this sketch #66

After this morning's tin lid altering I had some Ruby Rock it paper remaining.
Enough for a white card.
I've matted the paper then used the matching stickers plus some rhinestones on this Together Forever card.

Paper sweeties and Shabby Tea room.

This colour scheme reminded me of some items in my Counterfeit Kit.
On Shabby Tea Room they're asking for us to link our entries to Paper Sweeties for this challenge.

I started with a tin I bought in the Christmas clearances.
Even though I like James Dean, it was screaming out for an OTP project.

I used Ruby Rock it Reminisce paper and matching cardstock stickers.
Vintage lace was used around the edges and wedding lace on the lid.
The crochet flower was sent to me in a prize pack so I'm not sure who made it.
Bella Bling flourishes are on opposite corners.
Finally I cut some leaves from polka -dotted lime paper to finish it off.

I have only altered the lid as I have found in the past that wear and tear usually damages to bottoms of tins that were altered.

Color Throwdown

The colours at Color Throwdown this week appealed to me ,so I've made a card using some rub-ons I had.
The card has a garden theme and will be sent to a friend who used to own a nursery.

March Counterfeit Kit-BIRDS AND FLOWERS.

If you have come from Jemma's blog you are on the right track.

Here is the cocoa daisy kit we are asked to Counterfeit.
February 2014 kit "Color Swatch"

I am going by pattern rather than colour this month.
My kit will be called BIRDS & FLOWERS.

My papers contain a conversation paper, a grey and white neutral paper, there's a yellow and white hexagon paper in the original, so I've found a neutral toned paper with grids, plus another apricot one with checks.
Then I went off on a tangent.

I've been hoarding 7 Gypsies papers items for too long . I'm using this set of 4 bird related papers.

plus these large 7 gypsies journaling blocks.

My embellishments include a Graphic 45 sticker set (also hoarded!)
Plus an assortment of other stuff.
Washi tapes,ribbons,tags,doileys etc

Some flowers  GASP!!!!
And some last minute finds, including those wood veneer frames and paper similar to the one in the original picture.

Now here's the order for the blog hop.

Sketches with a Twist

Here is the Sketch for March
and the twist is to use PACKAGING.

I've used 3 lots of packaging on my layout.

The hexagons at the top are made from the Maya Road packet (Blue flower). The red white strips under the photos are from Elle's Studio date tags and the oval under the title is from a Bella bling packet(red flourish).
