A Parisian layout for fun.

I used a paper I bought at Lincraft called European windows and went from there. I used Graphics 45 papers, scrapmatts chipboard, hero arts flowers and my cuttlebug to emboss the bronze paper. The lettering is October Afternoon and the journalling frame is from kaisercraft.

We saw this house whilst cruising along the Seine.

Scrapbooking from scratch

Annabelle is preoccupied with hair fashions in this photo. She had several clips in her hair, most of them were butterflies. The layout is based on a sketch on Scrapbooking from scratch.I've used scrapmatts butterflies. The paper is from Australian scrapbooking ideas and features, what else, butterflies!

Black with 2

My daughter's 21st was a dress up theme. Her father came as a magician, complete with cape, top hat and a rabbit (toy). Her dress was black and red so this photo is ideal for the challenge. The alphas are recycled in the sense that I used the majority on another layput and had to think of a title using the leftovers.Hence the r instead of are.

Things my mother taught me...genetics

My scanner is refusing to co-operate' so I photographed this layout. It is part 3 of Things my mother taught me,called Genetics. And the tag line is "You're just like your father!". In this case it is true.Christopher looks like and behaves like Nathan did.

I used Graphic45 Coney Island paper plus scrapmatts nested hearts which I inked in a colour called "Old paper"

Aussie scrapjacked Vicki

my effort for scrapjacked this month features Christopher who at age 7 knows everything.I used art stamps paper which was double-sided allowing the cogs and the rocket ships to be utilized.I inked the strip of corrugated card to match his T shirt and used ribbon saying you're a star instead of string. The bulldog clip replaced the one Vicki used with the fold down arms but otherwise it is pretty true to the original.

Scrap the girls entry

I don't always find time to do this challenge but this month I happened to have the criteria ready.

I've wriiten the following"Sometimes I look at you,my adult daughter, and remember the tiny baby you once were.It seems so long ago.Sometimes I wish those times would come back but I know they can't.Always I am so proud of the woman you have become".

I think the vine is Twiddlybits.I hand drew the leaves on the chips.

A2Z scraplets entry

My entry for A2Zscraplets features the chipboard sign saying "scrap retreat".I inked it using purple then embossed ..I used 3 doiley circles, brads, plus flowers and ribbons to underline the photo. The misting below the photo was added to with rub-ons.This was at Bendigo at the first purplescraps retreat 4 years ago.I'm still friends with these ladies.
